REI

Was having a hard time getting training wheels installed. they got it done for reasonable price and I know he safe. Always good customer service whenever I visit!

As an outdoor enthusiast it is always dangerous to enter into a REI for want and fear of haphazardly spending $1k on gear. Nevertheless, I ventured to this store in hope of purchasing three items. The floorplan of the store was well organized and I was able to walk in and out in under 10 min. Would have loved if someone would have offered me help but honestly it wasn't even needed. Great store. Friendly staff. Careful driving in and out as the parking lot is a little wonky!

Went to REI with kids age 7 and 8 to get equipment for upcoming Grand Canyon hike. Very good selection of mid to very expensive gear. The real value of coming to this store is the highly experienced staff. We purchased day packs, hydration packs, and hiking shoes. The staff provided insight into which packs were best for day hikes and then made sure they fit the torsos of the kids and myself. The staff who helped us pick hydradation packs gave us good selections and the ideal packs for kids to fill and a local area to hike which would simulate the uphill hike out of the canyon. The shoe saleman sized the kids and pointed out good socks to limit blisters. We will come back for additional equipment in the future.

Lots of interesting and creative ways to enjoy the outdoors. We had a great sales associate who was able and willing to help and offer suggestions for us to consider without any pressure.

If you are outdoor guy rei membership is worth. I got a running shoes vis rei online and have to return the additional orders which didn't fit. The return process was very smooth and I ended up enjoying shopping in the store instead of rei online.
