Relax the Back Store

Relax the Back is the place to go if you have any type of back pain. I’ve been a customer for decades and had to purchase a new recliner recently. Ron was incredibly helpful and patient going through the various options to help me select the best chair for my needs. He even spoke with my Doctor. That is customer service at its best. This store is a gem and If you’re fortunate enough to have one in your town, take advantage.

My 75 year young Mother had a lower spinal fusion surgery 2 weeks ago. The surgery itself was a success, but anyone who has had this type of surgery knows the recovery is long, painful and slow. We got her home and none of the chairs in her house were comfortable to sit in, nor provided any support. The choices for her were to either sit uncomfortably in one of these chairs or lie down in her bed. Neither were good options. I've had both hips replaced and 2 discs in my neck replaced. After my 1st hip surgery, my husband and I invested in 2 Zero Gravity Perfect Chairs from Relax the Back. Game changer for my recovery. I knew my Mom needed a zero gravity chair. I reached out to Steve and Ron on a Friday and they were able to have one delivered to my Mom in Concord, NC by Monday. She got in the chair while the delivery guys were there and immediately was able to get comfortable. All the pressure on her spine disappeared and she finally had relief. Another game changer. Now, she can sit in her living room and recover with her family, her friends and not be in pain. I'm so grateful to Ron and Steve for making this happen so quickly for us. If you are having any kind of joint replacement surgery or fusion, research these chairs and get one. A nice bonus - they are all made in Massachusetts, right here in the USA! All have a warranty and if there are any issues, Ron and Steve will make sure you are taken care of.

Just purchased a massage chair. Wonderful experience. Ron was as helpful as any sales person could be. Totally professional in every way. Took all the time with me that I needed, to make my decision. Will definitely revisit not just for another great product but that great customer service experience as well.

Of course it's great when everything goes as planned, but perhaps the truest test of a company is how the owner handles the challenge when something goes awry. Steve Kaplan, owner of the Charlotte location, knows the true meaning of customer service. He worked with us and quickly resolved our issue. I cannot say enough about our positive experience. We will definitely return to his store if purchasing any of the products he offers. Highly recommend!

I was having a lot of lower back pain that I knew was coming from sleeping on an old and worn out mattress. I went to the store and got personalized service from the owner, Steve Kaplan and Ron. They spent so much time with me to help me find the exact mattress that was best for me. I absolutely LOVE my new bed and no more back pain for me!

We've always bought our pillows from Steve at RTB- and just now have gotten our first bed. All of their products are fantastic. Steve and Ron have great knowledge of off of their merchandise.

Ron at Relax the Back was so knowledgeable and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this store for their Tempurpedic selection, excellent customer service, and prompt delivery. The delivery service also removed my old mattress. I love my new mattress and feel thankful to Ron for making it an easy process.

Ron Roberts did a great job directing me to a cushion that now makes driving and sitting in chairs at home pain free. It was pricey but well worth the lower back pain relief it provides. After using one for a week I went back and purchased another - one for the car and one for the house. Thanks Ron!!!

Two older guys offered informative service. Of course massage chairs aren't for the penny pincher. Great demos and again great service.
