I was in love with the original location, but I'm even more in love with this location. Bigger, Very Classy yet Inviting, the food is amazing at both locations, but his location has a full bar! Great staff and my Favorite place for Spicy Fried Chicken.
Staff were amazing, drinks explained clearly, and the bartender was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Food was good, but not as great as people hyped it up to be. The Nashville hot chicken is white people spicy, and the buns were very soggy. A lot of flavor was lost to the oil. Everything is made just well enough to make you want to come back and try something new.
Pros : Friendly staff and attentive , small parking lot but street parking is available. drinks were strong , very cleaned establishment , portion sizes are good for price. Cons : seasoning is lacking there was no actual taste to my greens taste like they used to much vinegar and the chicken breading was nasty as well and cornbread was very dry. Not sure if I would go here again maybe for the drinks.
Tried the new to me at Paul location while I was in town and wow! This is a much quicker spot to get into. As always the food was amazing. Really the only part of the meal that didn’t wow me was the corn bread and Mac cheese. They were both kinda blah. But that chicken, the greens, that banana cream pie are to die for
It was decent, although for the cost of this, heck no, it was not at all good enough. The chicken tenders were a 5.2/10 at best, more bread on them than chicken. Biscuits and Cajun fries were excellent though. Service was good, kinda fancy vibe I suppose. If you want good chicken, go to Chick-fil-a instead Editing this down to a 2 Star as the management claims they need to charge a ton of money because of inflation… Lol stop it, save yourself the money and go to Culvers, Raisin Canes, or Chick Fil A instead.
This place has THE BEST burger I’ve had on Mn - it’s insanely DELICIOUS. Ask for lettuce on it - it keeps the bottom bun from getting soggy. The fried chicken is UNSTOPPABLE as well. Staff is friendly but didn’t know too much about the menu. Will definitely be back!!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Really loved the restaurant, the staff was super friendly, and the food was great. However I ordered a sweet tea, and I didn’t get it until after I ate, and paid. They were generous enough to take it off my bill, and put it in a to go cup for me. The server seemed to be struggling, though he was very kind. I felt like the meal was reasonably priced, and delicious. The Nashville Hot Chicken was spicy, but not hot hot. It was a building spice, but if you like spicy food you’ll have to add some hot sauce.
I love this location because of its aesthetic. From the wall paper to the fireplace. Staff are welcoming. The bar is my fav place to dine, this place gets super busy and if you're sitting in the dining room it can be a bit crowded. If you're not into the night life of dining, lunch time will serve you well, totally different atmosphere during the day. Nonetheless its a great experience, with amazing food. Photographed are my fav ciders Revival has.
I hate to leave a poor review and definitely don't make a habit of it but my first impression of the restaurant wasn't as great as many have made it out to be. I was so excited to try it after hearing that they don't cook the chicken in lard but in oil instead. As someone who doesn't eat pork products that was a win for me! I ordered takeout early in the morning and heard it would only take 10-15 mins - another win! Even though I live far away I was excited that such a well known restaurant wasn't busy on a Sunday morning. When I got there, my takeout order was ready to go. I asked the host if the chicken and waffles includes syrup and they said yes, it is included in the order. Here's where they missed the mark - I got home a 30 min drive away and noticed the syrup was missing. I was really disappointed and wasn't about to make the drive back. Now you're probably thinking - it's just syrup Mariam! What's the big deal? To me, part of what makes waffles so great is the syrup - it's like PB & J - you can't have one without the other! I was also excited to try Revival's rendition because every chicken & waffles place has a different, unique syrup. When I called to let them know that they had forgotten the syrup they didn't offer any alternatives or compensation and just mentioned "they must have forgotten to pack it." I didn't feel very heard and they didn't sound super empathetic. I understand mistakes happen but I find it hard to believe that such an established and well-rated/popular restaurant can forgot such an essential part of a waffle dish during non-peak hours. They offered to have me speak to their manager later but the whole experience was a bit lackluster so I didn't feel like calling again. On to the actual food part - The breading on the chicken is amazing and delicious. However, don't let the pics fool you - there's barely any meat on them. The majority of the chicken pieces had large bones and chicken was few and far between. The waffle itself was tasty but again, missing the syrup. The biscuits were delicious albeit a bit dry. But you can't go too wrong with biscuits. I did love the whipped butter too. Overall due to the poor experience I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat here again. It was good but there are a lot of other restaurants that offer chicken and waffles that provide more meat on them for a similar price point or less.
Nice Summer supper in the back patio , we had a rhubarb Margarita, chicken , bourbon carrots , grits , and , corn bread . Happy Hour , red wine is fine . Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating indoors as well Parking: Parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: It's one level street to patio . If I remember correctly.
