Richards House Bed & Breakfast

A really good bed and breakfast. It was so neat to stay in this historic mansion. The breakfast was wonderful, and the owners were very nice and accommodating. The interior has all the charm of a Victorian mansion and antique decor. Some elements of the house are a bit worn, but they are in the process of fixing up the exterior. It was a great stay for us and we will definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay here. House is beautiful though there is renovation on the outside the owners told us of in advance. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. They arranged to have flowers and candy in our room for our anniversary. Highly recommend a stay!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in the library suite! Comfortable and beautiful furnishings. Used the bedroom fireplace every evening. The breakfast in the elegant dining room was delicious and copious. Coffee, tea and homebaked goodies available all day. Love the beautiful woodwork throughout the house. Michelle and Dave are attentive, but they don't hover. Don't let the work going on the outside put you off. This is a lovely house and great value!

A very nice place, warm, cozy and their free cake and wine topped it off. They are working hard to restore the outside of a beautiful Victorian home, however, the inside will take you back in time, beautiful. The breakfasts? Oh my gosh, a hundred dollar breakfast at any 5 star resort. Will definitely be back.

I have always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast. I finally got to and I can't imagine a better one to stay at. It by far exceeded anything I had ever thought. They even had free wine soda and cake! The breakfast was amazing and every room is unique and beautiful.
