Worst customer service experience ever. I made it very clear which features I needed my AV receiver needed to have and I was sold the wrong receiver TWICE. After waiting about 5 weeks for the receiver to come in, I found that it did not have the outputs that I needed. I was told that they found the receiver I needed but it would be an additional $500. The very next day I brought them $500 cash and the incorrect receiver in order for them to order the “correct” one. After another 5 week wait for the “correct” receiver, (While waiting weeks for the gear to arrive, I would often call and check on it and be told I would be called right back and NEVER received a phone call back) I try to install the new receiver and find yet again that it doesn’t have the features that I needed. I immediately made a phone call to them and was placed on a 30+ minute hold while Richie Jr called the manufacturer (which I had already done) to determine if this model had the capabilities that I need. I was placed on hold by Richie and he never came back. I was on hold long enough to make a 20 minute drive and arrive at his store, still on hold on my cell phone. When I got here to return the 2nd receiver, Richie Jr was being very confrontational and trying to place all of the blame on me, the Customer. This place is very unprofessional and I don’t see them being around much longer anyway but they certainly won’t be getting any more of my business.

This place is by far the best AV store in New Orleans. I came in around January of this year, unannounced, and Richie sat down with me for about an hour discussing my home AV project. We looked at any and all potential wiring options, and he designed my entire structured wiring for my home. He also gave me 3 different equipment installation bids for my home, so I was able to find the right package that suited me. Richie sent out his technician team in May and they knocked out my 3200 sq ft in 2-3 days. The wiring was clean, organized, and they spent the time to walk me through everything. Then, once my house was finished in September, Richie sent his team in to do the equip installation. I bought 2 65" Sony TVS, 3 55" Sony TVs, 1 40" Sony TV, 2 Sony ES receivers, a control4 system for the rest of my home, Klipsch speakers, SVS subwoofers, a new wifi router, and various other devices. (Everything worked correctly, except for one of my TV's. It was defective out of the box, and they swapped it out almost immediately.) His technicians (the same techs that did the wiring) were very knowledgeable and patient, as I am pretty stupid when it comes to electronics. Richie has provided great service after the fact, walked me through any questions that I have, and he has even come back out a couple times, free of charge. It took me awhile to finally learn the Control4 system, but I finally got the hang of it. It works great. My AC, lighting, audio, video all work from my phone!! I cannot recommend this place enough to people who are interested in AV systems or Home Theater. Go talk to Richie if you need help. 6 stars. A++. Thanks for everything guys. -Corey

Had a great experience here. Purchased my TV and home theater system from this place. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. I have suggested this place to everyone.

Had the best Sony TV that I wanted at an extremely competitive price. They delivered the next day and even tolerated my ridiculous dogs who ended up running amuck all over my front yard :-P TV's box and TV itself were in perfect condition upon unboxing it several days after delivery. No lemons from RS's! Their customer service and warranty offers cannot be beaten.
