We love the Broadmoor but had the worst service at Del Lago at brunch. Waited 30 minutes with tons of available tables. All four hostess’s were incompetent. They attempted to seat someone at our table after we went to the buffet. The rest of the table service was awful. Totally inattentive. Might as well clean the table off while waiting 15 minutes for an omelette. They charged an automatic 20% gratuity for a table of four. I can understand that policy based on the performance of the staff as I doubt they would receive many tips.

Fantastic service, fantastic food, fantastic wine selection and a beautiful atmosphere with a view. My wife and I have come here many times and have ordered many things without being disappointed. I will say that the menu is not for beginners, which is why I think the restaurant has some poor reviews. If you have never been to another country before or haven't seen another language, then please go to the texas roadhouse and order your steak there. Does that sound snobbish? Maybe. If I were to watch you get frustrated at their menu and ask "where's the spaghetti", maybe you should go to the Olive Garden... they'll accept you there. But if you want an experience that's similar to a nice Italian restaurant in Italy, Ristorante Del Lago is your place!

We actually sat in the bar section which does not require reservations as it is first come, first serve. The pizza here is truly worth the visit. We also enjoyed an appetizer and dessert and we were not disappointed by any of it. The amaretto cake was my favorite.

Service was so slow... we had to leave before we could even get our order. Took over an hour, only to walk away hungry. Really disappointing for such a fancy place. They said that they were just very busy because there was a conference going on. Seems like they should plan ahead for that.
