I cam in here to just get some coffee while waiting to meet with someone. Wow... I wasn't expecting how well they would make a Mexican Mocha. I was very impressed and so far this place holds the award as best Mexican Mocha in Portland. As other have noted, the place is quite expensive. I wouldn't be able to go everyday.
What can I say? Cute modern looking coffee shop, plenty of spaces to sit, great lighting, friendly baristas, cute neighborhood & icing on the cake, coconut milk!! Parking in the area can be a bit tricky so leave a few extra minutes to find a spot. Otherwise, great little spot, I'll be back!
Perfect stop before or after a hair appointment at nearby Akemi Salon. Space is cute, they have tables, WiFi a bit slow! and delicious coffee / matcha tea. Yum!
Great coffee! Super clean atmosphere, hip ands popular location.
A big, bright space with plenty of tables. Great coffee, great tea. Perfect for getting some work done.
Cute spot for some great coffee. The barista was friendly and quick with our order. It is located in a very cute neighborhood so be sure to walk around after you grab your coffee to go. They also have pastries which were very delicious. Highly recommend!
As a freelancer, I always search for a nice coffee shop where I can work and also enjoy good coffee. I was highly recommended Ristretto Roasters Coffee by my family members who live in this neighborhood and now I go there almost everyday. The coffee is great and the staffs are very friendly and nice. Today, I intentionally asked the manager's name who always makes me feel welcomed. Thanks, Kim!
Great, smooth tasting coffee. The place has ample seating for hanging out and plenty of outlets for working. Edit: I live close and come here reasonably often, but have noticed the coffee is a little inconsistent. It's always good, but sometimes better than others no idea why.
Disappointing, and just average even when it was closer to right. Went here several days in a row while visiting town and it was never great, and was consistently inconsistent. I don’t care how good your roasters are, if you aren’t training your baristas to put out consistent product then folks might as well head to Starbucks. I am pretty critical about my espresso and have my coffee at Verve or Cat and Cloud every morning when home, so I know consistency can be done.
Ristretto Roasters are one of the better coffee roasters in the city. They usually have done of my favorite coffee around. That being said, done of the locations I've been to have had some consistency issues, but it shouldn't be held against them. They still have really good coffee, by and large.
