We had crispy cod tacos, a multi cheese pizza, wings aren’t pictured and drinks. The wings were incredible!! Buffalo, crispy, perfectly cooked. Maybe a light flouring before frying type crisp. The fish tacos were ok. The sauce wasn’t the best. Just tasted like long island dressing or something. The pizza was tasty. Well sauced. Cooked well. Remember to say no ice with drinks. My drink became watered down so fast. The Georgia drink with tea , lemonade and cranberry is a non sweet tea.
We had a good meal. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was good. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is just because it was good, not great. I've had much better chicken parmesan in many other places. I do have to say though the garlic bread was pretty tasty.
Phenomenal pizza. Similar to a Neapolatin style pizza but with a slight less hydration in the crust giving it more body and a wonderful crunchy circumference. The sausage and cheese are incredible, while the veggies are perfectly al dente. Currently the best pizza in Milwaukee that I've had.
What a disappointment and unpleasant experience with a restaurant that is occupying prime real estate in the Historical Third ward. We arrived about 40 minutes before close. There were a few tables occupied We put in our order fast understanding the time constraint. The server was most ok, but the manager or whatever his role was rushing us from even before the time the pizza arrived. Now, I understand that this is a nice spot, scenic, right on the river but it is not the only restaurant in Third Ward and you can get the great view in other spots as well. It is not a monopoly, although the manager/supervisor not sure what he was thought he was handing out free meals on a time schedule. The pizza - it was extremely cheesy and not flavorful. I looked at photos from other reviews, our pizza didn't look very well blended with barely any sauce. Most likely they rushed or they have inconsistent quality. Patrons should be treated with a little more service oriented mentality and the manager/supervisor's little roundtable party should be put in perspective. Will not return since this is how the place is managed.
The Milwaukee Pizza was great. I have had better Thai chicken pizza. The outdoor patio is great.
Cool place on the river in the Third Ward. Went before a Skylight Theater play and was able to walk from there. Easy to park, not jam packed on a Saturday night, but most tables were full. No wait. I dont think there's a bar, though they do serve alcohol. We had Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer and they were good. They were wonton wraps, which I prefer. Not quite Saz level, but good. For dinner I had Chicken Parmesan and my friend had Ravioli. We both agreed the dinners were tasty, above average Italian food. They claim to have MKE style pizza, which I didn't know was a thing, but immediately knew what they meant. Thin and crispy crust, similar to Zaffiro style. I didn't try the pizza, it looked delicious, I'll need to go back. Overall I enjoyed my visit to Riverfront Pizzeria. Vegetarian options: A few appetizer options, we had the mozzarella sticks, also have bruschetta, not much else. Plenty of salad choices, pasta and ravioli, and of course pizza. It was easy to eat here as a vegetarian.
My boyfriend brought me here on Saturday and we really enjoyed it. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and I had the shrimp tacos. It was honestly the best food we've had in awhile. Mimosas were good as well! Our server Gwen was awesome, very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to visit again.
Good pizza in a great location! We catered a party buffet line. Everything was very tasty
We had a nice table at the windows so a great view. Super-efficient and pleasant server. That poor young woman had tables inside and outside, then got a table of about 20 people! I can't even imagine trying to handle that, but she did. We ordered fried eggplant strips and then two different pizzas. SO good. We had lots of leftover pizza to take home. Parking: I found a street parking right across from the restaurant.
I've eaten here a handful of times. Each experience has been more than pleasant. The pizza is amazing. Service is great. I drive across town for the ambiance of being able to sit on the river. The homemade meatballs are amazing!
