Rockies Diner

I had been told this is THE BURGER place to visit in Boise, so one day recently we were in the area and decided to stop in. It is decorated as a classic 50's diner with the waitstaff on roller skates. Most of the burger and sandwich meals come with bottomless fries, which are freshly cut potatoes. I had the blue cheese burger and it was great. The buns are super sweet compared to most burgers I have eaten. I will definitely be coming back.

I ordered the Swiss burger and it wasn't good. The hamburger patties tasted like it had been frozen for months. My wife ordered fried zucchini, onion rings the zucchini was good the onion rings were overcooked as where the french fries on my plate. We each had chocolate malts which were good. The best part was the service we had a great waitress and she was very nice.

Love the atmosphere!! The girls on the roller skates brings me back to my childhood in the 60's. Food was pretty delicious also.

Our waitress was great! The DJ was fun. The food not so good. I ordered finger steaks with the seasoned jojos the jojos were way over cooked with no seasoning. My daughter's breakfast burrito had slices of cheese thrown on it without melting it. I love the feel of the restaurant! Just need to have some cooks take pride in the food they send out

This is an amazing place to eat......I eat here often and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is great and the roller skate around serving the food if you ever have the chance you should check this place out....
