Great place to stop in Idaho! Lots of truck parking and they treat truckers with respect. Large portions with low prices and everything we tried was great. We had the Haddock fingers, baked potatoes and chili. The diners all come with the desert of the day, which was bread pudding today. We wouldn't usually get bread pudding, but it was good. The chili is really good so was halibut. The service was great and the atmosphere was clean and inviting with comfortable seating. We will definitely stop here again.

The service here was wonderful as always, as was the food. For having everything made from scratch, there was little time between when I placed my order and when I got my plate. My waitress was Janel and she was an absolute sweetheart.
If you're looking for a place to get some wonderful home cooking at a great price, this is the place to go. It's nice that they're open 24 hours a day for if you're needing a nostalgia trip at 3AM.
I definitely recommend visiting here at least once. Even if it's only for a coffee.

This place is perfect, country cooking at its best! They make homemade pies and the prices are fantastic with plenty of parking for cars and trucks. This will definitely be a regular stop for me when I come through.

Food here is very affordable. All of the dishes are under ten dollars. Unfortunately the quality is not one I would choose to pay for very often. Some of the cuisines are unique in their home style theme. If you're the type who likes a friendly staff and to be in good company, this would totally be your scene.

As good as i remembered. My family use to stop and eat at the Wayside everytime we would travel to and from Boise to Ogden over 35 years ago. Loved it then and love it again.
