This was my first time experiencing Royal Cuisine, I reside in Manhattan where authentic west Indian food is so hard to find. The person who was attending to me was Marcia. She was friendly, cordial and extremely professional. I got the medium size curry goat with rice and peas and steam cabbage. The goat was cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice. The rice was nice and fluffy not soggy or mushy and the steam veg was on point. Even though it was steamed, the cabbage still had a delectable crunch to it. If I'm ever in the area again I will be sure to stop by and try other dishes on the menu.
look i'm not the kind of person that is afraid of food being a little greasy, i don't demonize oil. but i got the rasta pasta and man this was swimming in a pool of oil, not sauce mind you, but just straight oil. curried goat was good just idk what happened here man it looks like the sauce splitFood: 3/5
Took a chance and ordered tonight around 1AM. The reviews were good, so I ordered the small jerk chicken. It was phenomenal! Seasoned great and they even sent the jerk and oxtail sauce as I requested. Thanks for being open so late with AMAZING food!Food: 5/5
I walked into the store and wasn’t greeted. Also the cashier seems incompetent as if she’s making up prices or doesn’t know math. This has happened on more than one occasion. I’m not sure if they don’t have set prices or they are generally ripping the community off. Example: a jerk chicken meal is purchased with 4 THIS IS IT juices and the charge price was $25 however on a separate day, someone walks in to buy 2 OF THE SAME THIS IS IT juices and is told each juice is $5. Which is overpriced when everywhere else it’s $3-$4 MAX. So how much was the jerk chicken meal? I will never buy here again nor recommend. For this to be a black business in a black neighborhood. I am disgusted at the greed.
I ordered the curry goat. Wanted white rice because I feel it brings out the flavor of curry more. They didn’t have so I had to no other choice but get rice and peas. I enjoyed it however there’s too much bones on the goat. I paid almost 20 dollars for bones. The food is decent though.

The other night I was craving some authentic Jamaican food, and I found Royal Cuisine Yard on Uber Eats. I ordered around midnight, and despite the time, the food arrived fresh and the quality of the ingredients were good. First off, the jerk chicken was juicy and not too spicy! It was so well seasoned and flavorful, just the right amount of spice. Plus, it wasn't greasy at all, which was great. The rasta pasta with shrimp scampi was also really good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. What I loved most about both dishes was that they felt light but satisfying. You could taste the natural herbs and seasonings in every bite!
My new late night go to. They follow order instructions on doordash and they even gave me extra bbq chicken tonight with my son’s curry chicken. Large portions and fresh even late night. Thanks guys I hope to see soup on the door dash menu soonFood: 5/5
$20 for a small fried chicken, and Mac n cheese. It better taste good. Even if it does, I won't return with these prices. At least add a vegetable for that price!
Not the best of customer service during overnights at times but the best of food period! If you want one of the best Jerk chicken in Brooklyn you come here!!, Anytime of the day or night. I love the food here. Everything is take out, food is always fresh and their Jerk chicken is grilled for those who are getting shredded for the summer. Highly recommended
