I was torn between 1 star and 2. I used to really like the food and the customer service was usually decent or good. Lately, that hasn't been the case. Most of the food I ordered today was good, but the wings tasted stale. On top of that, I didn't get my biscuits with my order but didn't realize it until I was already home, this is the second time that's happened. I also saw a staff member put food back because a friend of his wanted fresh chicken. I go to this location because it's convenient but I'm reconsidering. If I do go back, I'll make sure to double check my order
Been here a few times. Always a issue. 1. Food case being empty 2. Waited over fifteen minutes for two sliders when no one else has ordered, ended up getting a refund. 3. Cigarettes not being stocked 4. Drink station a disaster and at times empty of cups and lids. 5. Ticket wouldn't scan at self checkout and ask for help was refused by one employee. Another helped and got it to scan after a bit, the one that refused remarked smartly "so it does work" Making me feel as if I'm a unwanted customer. Could go on and at least state four more instances where there were issues but for the most part recommend avoiding this royal farms location. I'm a person who gives many chances but this location potentially won't have my service anymore. Will say this, the deli employees are far more respectful and polite then the register employees. Hope this stores poor reputation around the neighborhood will change.
Convenient location for this Royal Farms as it is just off of 695. This place has high volume of customer activity at times but the employees still accommodate everyone. If you need to make a quick stop for snacks and drinks this isn’t a bad place to stop.
Worst customer service ever.. on March 17th around 8pm the woman at the hot station that servers chicken and sandwiches was soooo unprofessional but certainly got it together whenever the manager approached. She wasn't a but accommodating or even at minimal just be a good representation of Royal Farms. I thought they were all as good as others but they are not. I am NOT shocked that the rating is so low. The manager seems to care but it is a disservice to accept poor behavior when someone is a minority because you are not. Exceptional service is an expectation for all. Every other RFs that I've visited has a diverse staff and the always provide superb service this one should follow suit.
I come in here multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. There’s usually new cashiers and kitchen workers every couple of months/weeks and because of that, the service fluctuates a lot. A good amount of the experienced/OG employees are always exceptionally following good customer service code. Management cares a lot and they’re very kind people but I feel like the vibe of the store is just too chaotic to control sometimes. It’s not necessarily hygienic either. Even when I come in at 2am, the drink counter is still dirty and not stocked? It’s like this 70% of the time. You’d think that a store being dead for several hours the staff would get bored and actually look over the store and clean the place. I’ve worked in customer service enough to understand mistakes, lack of knowledge, lack of stock, not caring enough, etc, so I usually can care less but like, I just can’t understand why someone’s sweeping the parking lot but not cleaning the counter but yay, environment and stuff... Donuts are kept fresh, of course they get old but they never let them go stale. Fried chicken is always too salty and greasy but my family always gets a pack because it’s apparently really good. Wait time fluctuates and tickets are easily forgotten/lost/unattended to, like, a lot of the time. I’m sure most of the staff have been trained to know how to put two scoops of chicken salad in bread and know how to use a toaster, but I’m also sure that some people are assigned solely to kitchen shifts usually only at day time and thus, disorganization arises when it comes to night time even though in the day time it’s still disorganized. It’s always, loudly, “Bro, did you do this ticket yet?” ten minutes after placing an order with the customers directly in front of them but from what I’ve observed, everyone seems to have a silent mutual thought that it’s a convenience store and not a restaurant so most people are usually patient and understanding from what I usually see when I’m in there. Royal Farms in general though is very, very cheap for decent to amazing drinks and the menu prices are either normal or cheap but the value of a reeses is $3, I can get 3 large slushees with that . Icecream is $8-9 for a pint of bougie talenti icecream and $7 for a tub of the cheapest brand of icecream that at a grocery store, is $4 for TWO of the same brand/tub with a rewards membership. It’s also an ALWAYS 24/7 convenience store the “24/7” seven elevens and mcdonalds always close early with okay menu options/food. I would rate it 2 stars but like, it’s convenient and chill lol. If I need tobacco or craving a slushee/sandwich in the middle of the night, it’s less than two minutes away or a 15 minute walk. It has the bare minimum necessities for last minute buys like milk or car oil or whatever home stuff they sell. It’s really nice in the morning too, grab a cheap coffee creamers are nicely varied and a quick bite.
This place constantly lets me down. Chicken is always old, especially the fries. There is always a long wait at the register. I no longer see the friendly staff I used to. Just thinking of having to go here for anything stresses me out. This place is less than a year old >.< inexcusable! Changing my review to 1 star, smh
The last time I got chicken from there, I could tell that the cooking oil was burnt or had not been changed as its suppose to.
I come to this Royal farms almost every single day, the food their such as there subs which I love are extremely good. They have nice variety of snacks, drinks, and they do give out good deals such as $1 for any size slushe during the summer. But the some of the new employees there need to be trained on how to treat the customers. But, the manager and some of the other employees that have been at the royal farms for while treat me with respect. Besides the issues with the new employees I think Royal farms is good I'm going there tomorrow to buy another sub lol.
Larry is a very amazing man! Every time I come in he is the most helping hand Ive met. Thank you Larry for being you and so positive! The team here is always amazing!
when they first opened, it was a madhouse. lines were too long, everything was slow, etc.. but I waited... the last few times I went in, its been great. After tonight 4/7/2016 AT 9:30PM I had to write a review. The gentleman who prepares the chicken? really nice guy and very quick. the ladies behind the counter> Really courteous and quick. I'm so happy. God forbid I had to stop going and get my fried chicken somewhere else. The horror of it! PS- to the people who gave poor reviews because it was closed for renovations? Dude, seriously uncool. That's not how reviews work.
