Rudy's Music Shop

Great historic guitar shop that's been around forever. They sell lots of other things as well. Most of the guitars are antiques. Great customer service though.

Rudy and his crew will make you feel like family! The most friendly and helpful staff that I've ever met. When it comes to guitar knowledge and history, they know just about everything you could ever hope to know. If you're looking to check out some of the coolest vintage guitars in NYC you have to go to Rudy's.

The SOHO location is the nicest guitar shop in NYC. Very nice guitars and great staff (thanks again Rob). This is now my #1 stop in NYC - great experience.

It’s a great shop with excellent mid-to-as-expensive-as-you-want guitars. I went for the basses and was not disappointed. Dan helped me try a bunch out, and he was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I have just been there and came across such kindness and willingness to help that you would not normally expect from a store at that caliber. Gordon went through a lot of effort just to be accurate on questions that I have asked him about a guitar - that I have bought years ago from a friend of mine - and he delivered. Besides, I must mention that the store offers a respectful amount of vintage guitars and the many instruments are maintained excellent. The store offers 5 different spots to test instruments all with good amps. Enjoy! Itay.
