Rustique Pizza

We’ve lived nearby for two years and this has been our go-to pizza place. Always delicious and always great service! Dining inside is cozy, and BYOB. Our favorite pizzas were the Tammy and the Kathy, but anything you get is great. We will forever miss Rustique!

We stopped by here on an impulse and I’m glad we did. We were hoping they did pizza by the slice and were able to see a discrete side entrance that advertised pizza just as we wanted. We walked into a roaring hot brick oven that the pizza was just thrown into. It felt like a little VIP entrance right into a kitchen. We ordered two slices of margherita pizza and two diet cokes. The slices came out huge and were delicious. We ate them on the patio on the beautiful tree lined street. 10 out of 10 slice experience.

Pizza so good I forgot to take a photo until halfway through . The sauce is slightly sweet and it’s not heavy on the cheese my personal preference. The crust is thin and has a crunch to it and all slices have fresh basil on top.

Couldn’t be better! So happy to have such a good quality pizza and such a nice staff that leaves the kitchen just to give treats to my dog outside of the restaurant. 10 out of 10! Definitely recommend!

July 28th, 2022: Visited my brother who lives a short walk away on 5th St.... I spotted this pizzaria on Google maps and suggested we do some pizza before a concert at the Gramercy Theater King's X... We split a large pie, half white, half cheese and oh my god, it was fantastic! Our host was lovely, kind and down to Earth. Highly recommend Rustique Pizza! I'll be back when I visit my brother again.

My boyfriend and I have lived in Jersey City for a little over a year, and thus far Rustique is the best delivery pizza place we’ve found. Great options, decent prices, appropriately salted dough shockingly hard to find?!?, and quick delivery. Haven’t been in-person yet but hopefully will soon!

Excellent pizza! This pizzeria is under-rated. It has become my go to pizza place.

Rustique is amazing!!! The pizza has a great brick oven taste and the sauce is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage and hot peppers on my pie. Very crowded and busy but worth it nonetheless. Gotten take out from here multiple times now. Only thing I have to say is that the garlic bread tastes pretty awful, not sure what was up with that

This pizza is simply the bomb dot com. I love the option of a separate take-out only entrance. There are many decent- to-good pizza options in Downtown Jersey City, but Rustique has a special advantage for their easy-to-order, no nonsense, and unpretentious ways you know who those other difficult and high-n'-mighty pizzerias are. One request: please add zeppoles to the menu! Like other reviewers, I don't have a good pic of the slices and pies I have ordered always too busy eating right away! but here's my cat who is a big fan of Rustique pizza and the boxes they come in.
