Ruth's Chris Steak House

This was my first time there. The service was good. I really liked our waitress. The drinks were fine. The food was not as good as I expected for the price. It seemed as though got a little cold before brought to our table. The place was practically empty throughout the entire happy hour, which seemed odd. The friend I was with said she had been there before and it was much better, so she was surprised our experience was not more positive this visit.

Awful Service!! Made a reservation for our 34th wedding anniversary. When we walked in, the young woman at the desk said "they are just now cleaning off your table". We waited 20 minutes, and another guy from the front desk came to us and said, "We are waiting for a couple to pay their bill. Your table will be ready very soon." We waited another 15 minutes, looking at two empty tables, waiting for someone to clean them up. Finally, someone started cleaning off the table. We left, and went down the street to The Black Pearl. Walked right in, and the wait staff was lightning fast getting a table ready for us!

Best Steak I've ever had. My wife loved her Bass Fish dish too. Just a top notch restaurant. Pricey but well worth it.

Excellent food and service, but you are going to spend a lot of money here. Entree prices start out at $40 and is an alacart menu with sides for $10 and up. Perfect for a celebration. They surprised us with a special birthday present dessert for my wife & son.

Amazing location in the heart of Ann Arbor. The prestigious dining area is romantic, food is definitely splendid to taste, all plates seem to come prepared with enormous portions. No reason for the lights to be shut off in there anytime soon. It's worth the visit, go to enjoy a night out with someone & cherish every special moment.
