Ryder Truck Rental

Great service and friendly staff help me get back on the road. As an owner operator they made my experience painless and quick when my truck was in the shop with a blown engine. Their service allowed me the opportunity to keep running over the road while my truck was being repaired. Overall the rates are about the same as any other semi truck rental company.

These people have been terrible. Four years ago they sent a one-man team to move a 400 lb Xerox machine. He dropped it down a flight of stairs. We're forgiving. We asked them to come move it on January 31st (it's the most important machine in our office . . . so we scheduled all other movers around their promised date). Today, they called to say they weren't going to honor the arrangement. When I explained that their original move-date predicated appointments with 12 other vendors, movers, etc., they said they could keep the same date for an additional $1,000 (the original quote was $481).
