Tom Huot, LLS - Owner of S&H Land Services, LLC is my hero! I called his firm, spoke with a very nice man, Rob, who carefully listened to my situation and referred me to Tom. I'm an insurance agent and a document previously prepared by his firm needed updating due to the completion of a project. Under our unusual circumstances, Tom agreed to update it so my client could still use it at no additional charge. He did it graciously and quickly. Thank you to Tom (and Rob)!

I had an exceptional experience with S&H. I found them very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. In my entire home buying process, they were absolutely the easiest and most satisfying team to work with. I reached out to S&H after discovering at the 11th hour before closing that the bank had classified my house in a flood plain, which I'm sure is a familiar story for them. After hearing 5 different stories 5 other surveying companies (including one who thought a full $50k wetlands survey would be required), Tom Huot was the first who seemed familiar and confident in his understanding of the process. Working against my tight closing schedule he not only did an elevation assessment on the building, but also surveyed a needed base elevation for a difficult to access dam in the middle of winter. S&H walked me through the process and ultimately filed my LOMA, which was approved including the new regional Base Elevation. I know it's ultimately up to the land itself whether or not the classification is right, but I had every confidence in the world that my assessment was done correctly and professionally. I would be leaving a review this satisfied even if things had gone the other way.

Prompt, Knowledgeable, and Helpful. These are the top three words that I would use describe S&H Land Services. Tom was quick to respond to my initial quote, and all of my questions during the process of having a land survey done. My husband and I could tell Tom was knowledgeable not only about the property lines, but about what we needed for information to help with a variance for a project. He was helpful with preparing us for what we could expect during the variance process and how to go about the process. S&H Land Services went above and beyond to help my husband and I with our survey and information regarding a variance. They will always be my go to for any survey needed. Thank you Tom!
