Safe house was a great visit! Kids loved it. The food was good. Staff was friendly but not the quickest. Even after going I have no idea what the front door password was but I think that’s for the best! You will go in the alley door and do some silly activity to give access to the restaurant. Once inside you’ll be applauded for your dancing. Once inside you check in and if your table isn’t ready you can do a scavenger hunt around the restaurant. When your table is ready you’ll be taking there and end up in one of the fun rooms. They’re all pretty cool! Explore the place there’s a lot of fun stuff!
Don't go here unless you're ready for an . From the very get-go you become a secret agent, and have to prove your friendly intentions to get inside. It's so fun for all ages! Once inside, the place is spy-hideout from top to bottom. You could spend several evenings exploring the number of secrets and details scattered through this place. And the menu descriptions are amazing. I spent more time than anywhere else just reading the menu. The food is actually pretty good as well. It's better-than-average bar food. We had the Fried C4 Cheese Curds, the Impossible Burger, Furtive Fish Fry, and the Mission Impossible burger.
SafeHouse was a great spot!! The theme & spy concept is awesome. Entering was my favorite part. The host asks if you know the password, if you don’t know the password they make you do a silly task. Our task was to do 3 karate moves before entering. We stopped in for just drinks and an appetizer. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. The drinks & food were delicious! I definitely want to go back.
An exciting experience that needs polishing. The service and staff were great, once you find your way into the venue it is tricky to pull find the entrance. Down the side and pull the handle to get it. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The food and drinks were weak at above peak prices. The fries were thin and half cold with no condiments near by. It was small portions for premium prices. Just standard American food with spy names and special drink names only. An updated menu is needed with better quality food. The environment and atmosphere was special and unique from the entrance to the tables. Even the bathrooms have a style to them. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. Had to access disabled people and no parking is present. Later we found out that there was an entertainment fee for $3 which did not make sense given the high prices for food and drink. Kid-friendliness: Children's menu and activities.
Must visit, very unique and fun. Food was good enough to make the spy adventure worth checking out with guests. It gets a bit confusing, but they created a great entertainment piece to liven up the dining experience.
What a cool restaurant and what a great experience! If you haven’t been here before, you should go. The whole place is spy themed and it really shows based on how the entrance is laid out, the ambiance, how the servers greet you and the menu. Food was also good. I would take my friends and family here!
I have to say this place was amazing. I really enjoyed trying to get into the restaurant. The food was very good. I have to say the fries are better than any chain place. And the scavenger idea was great! The service was amazing to me I felt very welcomed. And the best part was trying to get out! Hands down hidden gem which was great!
First of all I just want to say I was so excited to come here because I heard amazing things and it was my birthday but it was a disaster from the moment my boyfriend and I walked in. We didn’t know we had to make reservations so as soon as we got there we were told there were going to be a 2 hr wait, ok no big deal. We decided to wait at the bar and have a few such as 1-2 drinks and do the scavenger hunt. That all took maybe an hr or so to do, we waited some more but notice that there were a lot of empty, clean tables and no one sitting there. So the sweet bartender allowed my boyfriend and I to order at the bar since there were just two of us. Great, that was nice of him but the other employees were not having it and told us we needed to wait for our table and being kind of rude about it so that killed the joy for my boyfriend and I. We still ate at the bar, since the bartender already put in our order. Food was horrible, extremely plain like literally no flavor and gave us both stomachaches afterwards. I had the fish taco and he had the spy burger. Oh, also our table still wasn’t ready and it had already been about 2 hrs when there were tables empty and cleaned. Other people were also waiting around too. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Waste of money! My birthday was pretty much ruined from poor customer service to the poor food quality.
The kids really loved this restaurant and its spy theme. And the staff at SpyHouse are true angels - patient, kind, attentive... The drinks at SafeHouse are good! And I got to take home one of the cocktail glasses. The menu is typical of an American theme restaurant and is seriously lacking in vegetarian or vegan options. I ended up with a salad that I ordered with no meat and unfortunately the cheese that was supposed to come with it was also left off. Oh well. 5 stars for the fun!! 2 stars for the menu. If you like burgers and fries though you are set.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Definitely a must visit location. I don't want to spoil the experience, but it's full of hidden doors, cool memorabilia, clever jokes, and a cool spy vibe, that makes you feel like you're in on a big secret. The food was superb, and the signature cocktails delicious. A scavenger hunt through the establishment highlighted many cool things we might otherwise have overlooked, and was just as much fun for adults as kids.
