Every dining experience is different based on the chef and personality/dynamic of the people at the table but I'm yet to have a bad experience and the food is always amazing! Personally I recommend the hibachi steak with fried rice. Goes well with a Sapporo too. Typically we go on Friday nights and have about a 30 minute wait. Pricing is a bit on the expensive side but it's worth it for the quality of food, entertainment, and we always get enough food for 2 meals. Typically we'll spend $30-35 each for steak, a drink or two, and tip.

Cooks are great food is good. However, front end workers are not the best. It’s always a hassle to get a reservation with these people. You have to call 24 hrs before hand and when you ask for the time you need they never have it. From one business owner to another my suggestion would be to take away reservations all together as it is clearly affecting your business due to the other reviews I’ve read. If you have one or two people this place is for you. If you have a bigger party go to the place in the mall. I have never had an issue there.

Awesome food and great stuff. For the amount of food the prices can not be beat. Compare it to Miyako and I say Sagano is better there is more seating and restaurant is bigger.

My favorite of all Japanese restaurants we've tried. Food is cooked and flavored very well with the experience of watching your chef cook in front of you is very entertaining with their show of cooking expertise. :)

We love this place! Every chef brings a different kind of experience to the grill. The food is excellent and we always get way more than we can ever finish.
