You know, I remember a time when this was a great place to go out for a nice dinner. Or drop in for a quick and not so expensive lunch. A time when the sushi bar was jam packed with people, but that was cool, you were more than willing to wait for the opportunity to get a seat and enjoy a great show.
Well, I am here to report that time is long past. That time is dead and buried. New Cherry Blossom? I don't think so, more like Old Decrepit Barren Cherry Blossom.
It is stunning that this is the same place. You can tell by the upkeep of the outside alone, that there's a reason this Cherry Blossom hasn't bloomed for quite some time.
And the inside seals the deal. Who knows when was the last time the owners put any money into the upkeep of their establishment? It's actually quite sad.
The prices are higher than they have ever been, the quality of the food has gone down hill. And the service is just awful. I will no longer be returning to this once loved place, my heart is too tender to see that they have reaped what they have sown.
Farewell, I will miss you old friend.

If you are looking to get ripped off...THIS IS YOUR KINDA PLACE. In front of the door, they had a HUGE sign that read 20% off your bill.....hidden by the weeds at the bottom in tiny letters for sushi only, other purchases do not apply. I ordered unfiltered sake, told the server at least twice, to make sure its unfiltered, she brought a bottle, opened it and poured it for me, trusting i got what I ordered, I didn't bother looking into the shot glass. When i realized she brought me clear sake, I told her, her response was, "You already drank some so we cant give you another one for free". I figured, its fine and let it got. All went ok, up until I got my bill. When I asked about the 20% discount, I got the BS about how its for sushi only, even though the disclaimer was not visible as you walk ino the restaurant. But the best part was the sake....the price was $24 for the tiny bottle. She brought me the most expensive sake they had on the menu, opened it and slipped it by me. Half of the bill's total was the price of the Sake. Again, i got the BS answer.....Bottom line is.....If you like to get ripped off for your meal, please come to this place. Better yet take a $100 bill walk into your bathroom and just flush it, that way you will save money on gas. I have been to this place few times over the years and it was about average, but this past Sunday they went out of their way to rip me off for extra $30 on my bill. I have no issues paying full price for a good meal, but be honest and don't lie to your customers.

I have never had a bad experience here. Yes, the food is pricey but in my opinion it is beyond worth the price! I only go to this restaurant for sushi and I recommend this place to everyone I know.

This place is great, the food is good and is a good price. Nice atmosphere too! to the gal who said you were waited on by a young kid, the nice lady (that's pictured) that waited on me is the only one that works that works in the front of house! Just because you think people should be one size or how old they look, please don't say some is 10 when there not.

First of all, the girl that sat us/kind of waited on us was about 9-10 years old, we ordered 3 rolls that took FOREVER to get. One roll came out before the other two. The waitress was yelling at the guy making the sushi. Our drinks NEVER got refilled the entire time we were there. The Philly roll had a weird taste to it. Never going back. DO NOT GO.
