Ichiban Steakhouse

We had a reservation for 12 people. They booked 4 other parties for the same time, and two more a half hour later. We waited for an hour to be seated after checking in, and another hour after being seated before we got even a bite of food. Management refused to talk to any of the patrons who had a reservation, and simply replied with "I'm busy". The hostess walked out, whether she quit or her shift was up we never found out, but the front desk was left unattended for at least a half hour, after which the cashier was told to handle it, without having any training at that station. She then just started sweating anyone regardless of when they showed up or had a reservation. Nobody was compensated for management really dropping the ball here. On the two single positive notes, the food was delicious, and they had a table large enough to fit us all together, but they where severely understaffed and over booked. Most likely will not return.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Sat and waited at the table for 40 minutes. Our sushi never got made until we reminded them we ordered it. Then we were told we couldn't have water refills until the chef came to cook the food. The owner lady used to be so nice and now she has turned into a compete nut job. I'd highly recommend not wasting your time/money.....

I had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. From the time I entered the door...to the beautiful setting... it has been nothing but amazing...the friendly staff...to the amazing authentic food...it was so delicious...I could not stop eating...I almost burst from being so full... the wonderful chef who kept us laughing... the very nice waitress...excellent most excellent food...I will always come back to this place and refer anyone there!!!! This place actually takes Benihana's off the map...

Made a reservation for 7pm and confirmed the reservation at noon earlier in the day. Got there and they told us it would be a few min, cool we were there for a friend birthday and gave us some time to catch up. So while waiting we decided to get some drinks, the bartender ignored our party and getting a drink was like pulling teeth. 830 rolls around we were told they could not serve any more people. Tried to talk to a manager and was unsuccessful, when asking the host about what was going and were a manager was she claimed that she was a 15 year old girl and could handle the situation. Poor service, would not recommend.

My husband and I went to Ichiban for dinner on Saturday night, and we loved it. The service is great, the food is fantastic, the whole place is clean. And their Long Island Iced Tea packs a punch. We will definitely be back.
