Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

So apparently everyone knows about this kind of place but I've never been before so I thought it was really cool. You get to sit around the grill in a circle and a chef comes and they cook everything for you right there. It's pretty awesome, they flip their flippers and pokers all around and they light things on fire, it's like a whole show. Food was also super good. You can also get sushi here, I don't really like sushi but there is a sushi boat you can get that literally comes out on a huge boat and that's cool. Definitely not cheap, but man this place is cool.

The experience was the worst! It took forever to be acknowledged by the staff and seated at a table. I sat in a booth not at the grill and was not given an option to eat at grill. I ordered quickly I was eating by myself. No discount for not eating at grill like other Japanese stakehouses I have eaten at. I got my drink, soup, and salad quickly. Then I waited, and waited, and waited. I was offered free sushi, apologized to several times. I waited so long the table of 4 behind me sat down after me and ordered, ate, and left before I got my food. Once I got my food it was wrong, I ordered no mushrooms because I am allergic to them, yet there the fungus was on my plate like an unwanted garnish. To top it off the food was barely warm. When I got my bill I was in shock because I had already spoken to the manager and he had apologized to me yet there was my bill FULL PRICE! I asked the waitress to speak to her manager and do something about it. He came back and said he took 20% off the bill. I was in shock, 20% that should have been the discount for not watching the show not after what they put me through! DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!!!

The food at this location was way better then the Ichiban in Canton Michigan. Staff was super attentive and friendly and our Chef was funny and good. Worth the money!

We really enjoyed Ichiban, the food was delicious and eating at the grill was a fun experience. The fried rice is very good, and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I had chicken and my husband had steak, they were both very tasty. They also have a nice selection of sushi.

Excellent food and service. Portions are generous and the hibachi performance is fun. Private booths in the dining room are great for a more quiet dining experience.
