Beautiful church ran by the Dominicans! They even have a St. Martin de Porres relic!
LOVE AND ADMIRE THE DOMINICANS HERE IN D.C. WHERE I GREW UP...THEY ARE KIND AND PATIENT AND SMART
A very quiet church in the middle of WDC
The Daily Mass or Sunday Mass is always on point. The beauty and peace I feel when u walk in, is overwhelming.
I was on a roof next door, and have never visited St Dominics- but the spire made me do more research to see what church this is. So beautiful!
I went here for Easter mass and was extremely beautiful
I came to visit Washington DC and searched the nearest Catholic Church. St Dominic Church was so close to L’Enfant Plaza.I would say it was a 5 min walk away. The Church was so Beautiful and Stunning it’s a definite must see. I asked permission to take picture before I attended a daily mass which made my visit perfect. My highlight was when the Priest stopped me to tell me a story of the Actual pieces of the cross which Jesus was crucified on that was behind the alter. Felt really Blessed
Stunning architecture
Absolutely beautiful space. I'm on the hunt for a more progressive Catholic church in the area. I've oy been once, so yet to be seen if they at the very least avoid making snide remarks about trans folks and abortions. Also yet to see if homilies are usually depersonalized or if there's effort to encourage and engage community. Update: They'd LOVE to pray the gay away ': Leaving 2 stars for the beauty
Very bad experience. One of the priests was hitting on me. This is upsetting. As a woman I find this sickening,
