this place is amazing! I have been going to St Leo’s with my family for two years now and have fully transitioned to St Leo’s as our “parish”! the mass is celebrated in the Tridentine Rite Latin the same rite that many saints throughout the centuries have attended and celebrated! There is a learning curve because of this, so don’t expect to get it right away but when you do, your mind will be blown! The community is made up of a lot of young families like my family, that is super active about building community. We’ve made some great relationships with other families! The priest is super reverent and very knowledgeable about the faith. He loves to teach and is so accommodating to many needs of his parishioners. I Would encourage anyone looking to go deeper into their Catholic faith or anyone interested to learn more about the Catholic faith to get involved. You won’t regret it!
St. Leo's was my first experience praying the old mass, and it is a beautiful church, both in terms of liturgy and the interior. Through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass it is clear heaven meets earth. Canon Silvey, assigned by The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priests, truly lives to serve the community and instruct the faithful. The people at St. Leo's are very welcoming. Couldn't be more grateful to have this church within the diocese.
The greatest Traditional Latin High Mass I have ever experienced. Truly beautiful. The absolute reverence and devotion on display from the father down was amazing. If you're a Catholic and in the area, St. Leo's Oratory should be visited.
Hi sir . I am on Turkey and there is so unrespectful. there is Muslim country but i have problem with islam . İ am researching bible . İts wonderful and i would want to this Church. Could u help me to come here God bless you
This was by far the worst Catholic Church I’ve ever been to. The entire mass was conducted in Latin which isn’t a bad thing of course but I’m new to the faith and do not yet know the language so I felt a little uncomfortable. It was never said where to look in the book provided to follow along and I could not figure it out. I tried to ask someone but was ignored. The priest had a very thick accent and so it was difficult to understand the homily. Disappointed I decided to leave after that and came upon a group of men parishioners outside having a smoke break…DURING MASS! Is it just me who finds this to be utterly disrespectful? Needless to say, I will not be returning and advise other newcomers to look for a parish elsewhere.
Holy and reverend, they say the Traditional mass at this church. Beautiful church, many parishners with big Traditional families.
Amazing...a piece of Heaven on Earth! 2 1/2 hour Latin High Mass....went by so fast!
Possibly the best church in the state. Very welcoming community, canon Silvey is great. Beautiful church, very nice high mass. 10/10
The Traditional Latin Mass is beautifully preserved here and the community is amazing. Canon David Silvey is the best pastor you could ask for and would lay down his life for the flock. You need to experience this community abd reverence for the Holy Mass.
The Latin mass is the greatest from this side of Heaven! You have to come and experience the beauty in the love for God! The people are friendly like family, and the pastor is wonderful!
