Sakura Japanese Restaurant

Most of the food comes with dead animals. Unethical and appalling. Orders frequently come out wrong and servers get nasty attitudes. I ordered vegetables and fried rice once, and the rice came with egg. I sent it back because I didn't ask for egg. One server said, "you didn't know it comes with egg?" Well, that wasn't stated on the menu. It clearly said fried rice, NOT egg fried rice. I said I was just going to get white rice instead, after I sent the fried rice back. He asked me if I was sure, because it is very plain. For one, I like white rice, and for two, why is he questioning a customer's taste?

I come here for delicious sushi! I love the food and the drinks. Every now and then you will come across a bad server and then not having enough servers, but what restaurant doesn’t have those? Normally the service is decent but again, I come here for the awesome sushi :). You can definitely tell it is made fresh.

(Takeout order) The sushi was excellent, the dinner less so. The chicken bowl was good, but the meat in the steak bowl was so overcooked some pieces were more like jerky. Both bowls were stone cold, not even a little warm by the time I got home. However, once we warmed them up they tasted wonderful. I'd order from here again but would eat in instead of getting the food to go.

I love Japanese food so I am biased. I think they need to remodel and clean up, but the food was great. Our waitress was friendly. Sake was cheap. So I really don't have too much to complain about.

Always been my top choice for a meal. Great service and the prices are really fitting.
