Delicious ramen with about 15 options including Korean style, vegetarian, chicken, beef and classical pork options. They ask what spice level you want from 1 to 10 and as a person used to a lot of spice, I would 8 is pretty spicy for me. Definitely recommend. Service is reasonably quick but it is a popular place, so you might have to wait a bit to get a seat, especially if it is more than 2 people. Vegetarian options: A few Parking: Limited car street parking but there is cycle parking.
Really solid ramen spot, I got the DC Miso Ramen with extra bamboo shoots and it really hit the spot but it was a bit light on the portion but I guess Ramen isn’t a super filling food to begin with. The restaurant itself is a little confusing to find, but it’s located underground and was a little humid, but that’s probably due more to the weather outside than the A/C inside. Would definitely come back!
Good Tonkotsu Red ramen. The broth is delicious and the chashu was tender. The pieces were a bit thick / inconsistent cut and the noodles were just a little over cooked. Overall, though, the flavors were great and the portions perfect. Orion can of beer to compliment. Also, really good music vibes. They were playing Tribe when I entered. This basement level restaurant is a great environment. To chill and slurp noodles. I’ll be back.
Best ramen in town. The owner was very friendy and helped us decide what to get. We wanted to try them all and we had no regrets. Jus a heads up, spicy is ranked 1 to 1010 super spicy ,a 5 is really spicy it would actually be a 7 or 8 in my book. But thats jus me. Loved all the food. Especially the kim chi which is the owners moms recipe
My favorite ramen place in D.C. Raman is just perfect, and they are not shy with their portions. The appetizer buns are perfectly cooked, it just melts in your mouth. The service is excellent. The chief came outside and greeted us.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
I come here whenever I can if I'm in DC. I believe the first time I was here was 6 or 7 years ago. To this day this is my favorite ramen place anywhere. The food: 1. Bulgogi Buns - These were so good I wish I was able to fit more in my stomach. 2. Shoki Bowl - This is excellent for any meat lover. The egg is flavored delicious too. 3. Tonkotsu Red - This ones the popular one and for good reason. It's full of flavor. If you don't know which one to get, get this one.
I had this ramen 2 years ago and have been dreaming about the day that I could come back and have it again! The day is finally here. The noodles hear have an amazing bite, the broth here have a lot of body and the overall dish is actually spicy not yt person spicy overall would freaky recommend the place, 5 stars!
The service here is amazing! They are quite accommodating to the customers. The ramen was delicious! Four stars: The mushrooms tasted as though marinated in soy sauce and placed on the buns… I expected a more flavored dish rather than just the overwhelming soy sauce taste.
Totally overrated. Probably by Americans who never had authentic ramen before. The meat is very fatty see picture broth super oily. As for broth flavor, Tonkotsu Ramen -OK, Everyone else is just soil sauce+ water. Would not recommend to anyone
One of the best ramen places in DC. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe and clear dividers between guests. The food was quick and delicious. It’s no Momofuko, but still pretty dang good. Pricing isn’t outrageous either.
