Roll up on 9/1/22 at 7:02pm. I have called ahead [20 mins prior] to check that an item is in stock. They assure me that it is, they also close at 8:00pm. I arrive to a sign on the door that they have "limited hours and are now open from 11:00am - 7:00pm." No mention of this when on the phone. But alas, An inconvenience, stuff happens. I show up today 9/2/22 at 11:42am with a sign that reads "due to power issues we will not be open and do not know when we will be open." I understand stuff happens but at this rate this is exactly why people just go with Amazon. Definitely taking business elsewhere.
Just went into this store University in charlotteand had the most disrespectful associates working there. I asked should I put my number in at the register and this young green haired lady stated “ if you give me a minute I was going to ask for the number” that was an unnecessary response. To all my African American family get your product somewhere else don’t put up with this kind of treatment when spending your money! I will take my business elsewhere.
Jessica was absolutely amazing in helping us!!!! She took time to explain which products to use, in which order and the technique. Everything she gave us was perfect for what we were looking to do. We were trying to get rid of some ugly yellow tones my mom had so that she can let her gray hair grow. Look at the results! thanks so much Jessica!
Gwen was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when it came to hair dye for my friend and my interest in the new mielle line!… If she can get a raise she definitely deserves one ! :
Placed an online order Sunday before they opened, but received a technical difficulties error message. I went to the store and asked the girl with the green hair working if my order had gone through and she responded in an irritated tone "Yes your order went through, I haven't had time to get it yet, we just opened." I said okay, I'm in no rush, I just wanted to make sure it went through is all. She picks all the items 4 items for the 4 for $20 and a highlighting kit and tells me they were out of one of the 4 for $20 products. I asked if I could replace the missing item and she said yeah, in a separate transaction, clearly not understanding that I wanted to still keep the 4 for $20 deal AND my 15% online order coupon I used. She said no and it would be best to return the order and ring the items again. I go look for the different item and I actually find the product she said was out of stock. She rings everything again and I ask can I still have the online order 15% coupon honored. She again retorts with a "give me a minute" and asks for my phone number. I give it to her and she says "are you sure you have one?". I explain again that it was an online coupon and she says she's new and doesn't know how to honor it. She seemed to be having a bad day explaining that her manager has been in the hospital for several days. This whole situation could have been avoided. She made the whole experience much more difficult than it needed to be.
I had some issues with an online order so I just came into the store and Dorthy worked very hard to make sure my issue was resolved and I left the store happy that day! Though every issue I faced was not within her control whatsoever she was very apologetic and very respectful of my time. Phenomenal customer service! With all of the issues I’d been running into I was considering shopping elsewhere for my products moving forward but Dorothy has made me reconsider.
Unhelpful staff especially coming from a general manager. Seems like she doesn’t want to work their. Went to look for a simple black color left with nothing
Greeting a customer when they walk in or atleast after you check them out really makes a difference. The sales associate working tonight was not friendly at all, rung me up then just left my item on the counter. I asked if I can get a bag and their reply is “we only have big ones”. I say that’s fine I’ll take one but then I point out a small one I see and was told those were for something else. If it is that hard for one to say hello, bag an item, then say have a nice day, they shouldn’t be in retail.
I always get great recommendations from the employees. And if something isn't in stock, they let me know where the closest Sally's is that I could go next.
Nisha was very helpful in recommending products based my needs. I always find the sales people very helpful.
