I have no complaints about this store. I came here on a whim, not really looking for anything specific. I am not really a makeup wearer but I decided that I need some new eye liner as mine has dried out. Told you, I am not a make up wearer LOL. I also picked up some magnetic eye lashes. I think I have worn false eye lashes maybe 5 times, but I felt like purchasing some new ones I still haven't worn them. I did ask one young lady for her advice. She was wonderful in providing me her thoughts on the lashes, so that also made me solidify my purchase. The lines were a bit long at times, but they moved extremely fast. I don't think I waited in line for more than 2 minutes. The cashier was nice and welcoming. I would come back to this establishment as the workers were nice, the shelves were stocked, and the store was clean.
This was my very first time shopping with Ulta beauty and I must say it was a horrible experience! I had a horrible interaction with Tammy. She helped me with choosing some makeup and it was a decent experience BUT my checkout experience is a different story. When asked about signing up for ultra beauty subscription I kindly declined simply saying “I’m good” this missed sales opportunity set Tammy off ! From then on she was very passive aggressive and nice nasty. Which is overall disrespectful. She even took it as far making snarky comments about how my points are going to the next guest. She wants to ensure that the points go to the right person…so shady for no reason. Get it together Tammy. You encourage me to NEVER return to Ulta Beauty. What a shame… 12/05/2022
Ulta needs to be careful about lying to customers. I was told when making an in-store purchase that I had to give my phone number or I wouldn't be able to return or exchange my products in the future. The cashier said it's company policy that you have to have an account to return something. 1 I'm not boo boo the fool; 2 I'm educated, so she tried it. While companies are free to make their own return policies, I'm not so sure about lying about the policies in order to gain my personal information while making an in-store purchase. They might want to be careful before someone either sues, contacts the BBB, or blasts them on social media for the deceptive means of acquiring information. Mainly because that's not even the return policy stated on the receipt. Side note: the service at that store was trash. People saying they can help but don't know what they're talking about or just never coming back.
I feel like every time I come here and they ask if I need anything which is fine if they ask the first time and I say no they keep asking within 5 minutes. This happen to me and I was on the phone and didn’t hear her this time around and the lady laughed at me just because I didn’t answer the question. It made the experience uncomfortable and makes me not want to shop here anymore. I feel like I was watched as if I could not afford shopping here. I really do not want to come back here.
They have about every hair and skin product there is. However, some of the associates follow certain people around the store as if they might take something illegally. It makes one feel uncomfortable. Although I love their products, I think I'll go to Sephora . They have many of the same products and they make you feel welcome.
I have struggled So bad with my eyebrows from past eyebrow people but wow Marian IS THE GIRL!!! She’s so sweet and really took her time on me. Very clean snd helpful! Overall 10/10! Please if you need your eyebrows done come here and ask for her! She is now my eyebrow person
This place is huge. It's so bright as soon as you walk in and it's very inviting. The staff is very nice. I went in there to return some items and again ended up leaving with something as usual. I'm going to have to put myself on a timeout.
The store itself and the employees are nice. There’s also a lot of times where some of the makeup you want will be out of stock completely. If anything be careful with pick-up orders, on two separate occasions I was given makeup that was either broken or had a broken seal.
My experience with this store has always been a pleasant one. The staff are helpful and willing to help. The store is always clean and the products well placed around the store. I have my favorites that I always love to see. Kinda of a second family. Bri always greets you as you step into the store while the other staff members assist you in a professional manner. I find the esthetician very insightful in the facials and other services I receive often. Barbara takes her time to explain what type of skin care regiment works for your skin type. Another service, the hair salon benefit me many times. The Ulta Beauty app on my phone can be tricky but the stylist are willing to help schedule appointments in person or over the phone. Something corporate IT people need to fix. Working in IT, I can see that their app needs major updates to include a better scheduling section besides sending a text to your phone outside of your app. Thank God for that wonderful staff. Jamillah works wonders on my hair. May I say micracles on my hair. She explained the type of hair o have and has assisted in purchasing it products to help me reach my hair goals. I've also am amazed of the other stylist that transforms people into their better selves. Just amazing. I know what each treatment will be between the esthetician and the stylist plus their cost. Which benefits because it adds to the points with the Ulta Beauty reward system. As I leave I get a Hardy wave goodbye and off to the register where they will ring you up and a quick and easy manner I believe the woman Tammy is a great person to see as you leave the store. You always feel welcome to come back. Lastly you get to listen to some good music pumping throughout the place while you shop. Update: Jamillah has left the company. She is greatly missed and customers still come by and ask. They do have the magical Chelsea it was been there for months.
90% of the things I tested wanted to buy were out of stock. It’s inconvenient to have to buy something online when you’re already in the store. I usually shop at Sephora & that’s what I’ll stick to.
