Dr. Wong has an awesome chair-side manner that put both my teens having their wisdom teeth extracted at ease. The procedures went smoothly, and Dr. Wong called the evening after each kid's surgery to check on them personally. My one "knock it down one star" has to do with how far out their schedule is, and zero foresight put into the likelihood that some patients will need to reschedule. One kid, after waiting three months for the first available surgery appointment, was too ill on her original surgery date to have it done (wouldn't have been able to nose breath). This wound up meaning she had to wait an additional 3 months. Time matters if your permanent teeth are already being impacted by the ones being removed. They could do a lot by simply holding some gaps in the schedule specifically for reschedule situations. If such a gap appointment time gets too close and they are concerned about lost revenue, then start offering it to those on a waiting list for closer appointments, or to those just setting appointments. It's very manageable, not a new concept, and would minimize unnecessary delays in wait times for surgery. Again, base attitude and service is great. :)

I've visited several periodontists in the area, and been sorely disappointed by the way they treat people. Dr. Hokett and his staff are the best in town!

I had an I tooth and a wisdom tooth both removed. I spent 3 hours in surgery for just the I tooth and it was horrible! Why a 5 star review? Because its a tooth being surgically removed from your head, not a walk in the park. I was informed from the get go that i had very difficult teeth and it would not be easy. I even became known at other offices because they were so difficult to remove. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do the surgery, good people here.

Dr. Wong and the rest of the staff are awesome and make sure you're taken care of and the work is done the right way.
