Salon K

Had a fantastic experience at Salon K. Kay is a talented and experienced hairdresser, and she gave me a fabulous cut. I was running crazy late thanks, SEPTA and she was understanding, and still took time to get my cut right. So happy to have found such a great salon and a stylist as knowledgeable and skilled as Kay.

I have been coming to Salon K for my cut/color for 10 years. I love the stylists and the atmosphere and Kay’s Barbie display in the window is always fun! Sadly my stylist passed away earlier this year but Kay took over my hair and it has been seemless. I highly recommend this salon and for years have been telling everyone looking for a Salon in Philly. I moved over the bridge and still head into the city to see them. While Bill has not cut my hair, he has some great stories and from what I have seen his clients walk away happy!

Salon K is the place for you if you want great hair, and no "salon drama." Kay has cut and colored my hair a few times now. She balanced my poorly cut do, colored my hair beautifully, and gave me great advice from her 20+ years in the business. Kay also does a great job cutting my fiance's and 11 year old son's hair. Go here if you want a quality cut for your son with long hair! The salon is cozy & stylish, with a friendly staff, and no nasty chemical smells or attitudes! Pricing is fair for the service you receive. Definitely a good value for the city.

Needed a haircut and was passing by. Walked in and booked an appointment for about 1 1/2 hours later. Went back and had Tiffany. She was great. She did want I wanted and made suggestions. My cut looked great until I went back 4 weeks later for another cut. She cut my hair again and remembered what she did and my hair looks great. Highly recommend Tiffany!

Kay is great, she came highly recommended and it shows. I have never had Brent cut my hair but both my roomies see him and his work is also excellent

NEVER AGAIN! Booked a 3:30pm for 2 people to do any updo for an event. Showed up at 3:30pm, waited 1 hour and 15 minutes with no sort of urgency detected on the part of the stylist. Was slightly entertaining to see one customer who had a shaved head and yet somehow took 1 hour + to get his hair done his fault for being unreasonably anal about his hair that essentially looked the same for the last 45 minutes of the haircut. When we got up to leave they blamed the front desk guy who wasn't there for overbooking them. What a joke.

Billy is awesome, He Always smiles when he greets me. He is very knowledgeable about his craft. I always feel like i am in good hands. I highly recommend him.
