Story

Inspired by his recognition as the North American Hairstylist of the Year, Giovanni Mele took the beauty scene by storm when he founded Giovanni & Pileggi in 1997. Giovanni & Pileggi quickly became known for cutting-edge procedures, unique techniques, and extraordinary service, developing its reputation as the city's top salon and earning countless accolades.
After 15 years as a Rittenhouse Square staple, Giovanni & Pileggi salon recently relocated its headquarters downtown to Midtown Village. Giovanni & Pileggi's bright, contemporary new home is located in the heart of Center City in one of Philadelphia's most vibrant, thriving, and diverse neighborhoods; Midtown Village offers the best of creative, modern living paired with quaint, historic charm.
Giovanni & Pileggi's talented and award-winning staff continues to deliver superior haircuts, color, styling, and specialty hair treatments, as well as beauty services such as makeup application and eyebrow shaping. Bridal packages, including hair and makeup services for brides-to-be and their bridal parties, are available both in the salon and off-premise. In addition, Giovanni & Pileggi carries premier hair products and tools to help maintain beautiful hair, including Mele's proprietary sulfate-free G Melé Anti-Aging hair care.
