The instructor for the free lesson was the rudest person I've ever met at a salsa studio, anywhere. I'm not an instructor, however I studied at one of the best studios in the country, and know my way around the floor. To boo me and insult my style of salsa (Puerto Rican), was unprofessional and absolutely insulting (on more than just a dancing level, but a heritage level). The spirit of salsa is to have fun and enjoy yourself. If someone new to dancing all together had experienced what I just did, they would never come back.

I love this place. The teachers are so nice and people are friendly. I have made great friends here and joined the dance class. This multicultural community attracts me. I will definitely recommend Salsa Mississippi to any new comer in this area. It does not matter if you are a great dancer or not. This is a place to enjoy life!

I recently decided to come to the free salsa lesson on Saturday. The experience was upbeat, positive and fun. No one made me feel uncomfortable because it was my first time. Sorry to the guys for stepping on your toes, lol!! I had been looking at it for awhile but a friend and I finally made our minds up to try it. The instructors were fun and informative and made the experience that much better. We are very glad we did and plan to come again.

This is by far the best place to hang out in the area! You can learn how to dance from the basics, develop your current skills and meet great people. Lots of fun! Other then regular dance classes, they also organize various events so check their website.

The classes are fun and enjoyable and easy to follow. I do like the fact that they go out as a group to dinner after class. The instructors and students are a really fun and nice bunch of people to know.
