Damon had to be the rudest and downright disrespectful sales associate ever. A bad battery was sold to me and didn't hold a charge after 4 days and well within the 7 day return/exchange time window. They charged my battery when I SPECIFICALLY expressed I wanted a refund or an exchange. Damon told me to go buy a new battery from a different store and then would issue my refund or exchange with proof of purchase from a different retailer. Completely unprofessional
The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I have had great service here for years. My parents went to them for years as well. I had an issue with a battery that under warranty. I had to get it charged and jumped started by AAA. I made it to salvo to exchange the battery as it was less than a year old. I’m explaining what the was and the older man looks for my account. He couldn’t find it. I said maybe I used my deceased parents number by accident. Nothing couldn’t find it. So I was like well I purchased it here. So he investigated and the last purchase was under and incorrect phone #. He says “You need to stop with these different names and numbers in the system” ….you mean you had it wrong in the system???? So then he checks my battery and can’t get a reading on it. Then the questions well how did you get here. AAA doesn’t charge batteries. So I called my mechanic neighbor on speakerphone to explain. As soon as he heard his voice he knew him and then automatically believed him even though I said the same thing. When I brought it up it was oh well I know him. EXCUSE ME?????????……so I had to pay for a battery and then bring it back for a refund. $189 for a battery that is under warranty.

Service was slow and seemed aggravated that he had to ring us up. However, they always have the parts I need and have a great return and/or exchange policy.
I have been shopping at salvo at least 12 years minimum and do a fair amount of business with them and today is the first time I have been disappointed with them . I bought several items from them this is the item HH42003MIE 16QT SUPER DUTY DRAIN PAN it performed well until it was time to remove it from under the van I slid the drain PAN from under the van holding it by the integrated handle put it down turned around and realized it was leaking. I took it back to the store and showed them the hole they were willing to replace with another one I did not want it .My opinion is if the container is not as strong as the 5qt bottle of Castrol titanium then why would I want another DRAIN PAN at this point Sam had another employee hand me a business card and told me to call the corporate offices. I left a message with the area manager and I am waiting for a call back
Initially I was told my parts would be special order which required me to come in and make the order and the parts would be revived within three days. When I came in to complete the order I was told it would actually be a week and a half and two had no idea why Mike would tell me Tuesday from the factory and Monday from California if the order was placed on the prior Friday. I placed the order and called exactly a week and a half later to find my parts were determined to be unavailable after all.
I usually try not to write a bad review but sometimes I've gotta just tell it. I was First time customer here and it will be the last time I'll take my business somewhere else. The guy that waited on me had a terrible attitude, he was very rude and acted like I was a bother to him instead of a customer .

I went into this location at Woodmoor to get a part for my vehicle. I was waited on by an associate by the name Damon. He was very rude and harsh to me!! I left the store without purchasing the part I needed for my vehicle. I’m not even from this area and I will Never go into another Salvo ever again! I will stick with Advanced Auto!! Damon could benefit from customer service class.
I like to start off by saying Salvo Auto Parts have been the most helpful Auto parts store I have ever encountered. Prior to going to Salvo I went to the typical franchise "well known" auto part stores and they tried to get me to buy things that did not pertain to what was needed to fix the car. The guy would not and said he was unable to look up the size wrench I needed to take the bolt off on my Caliber. I left there very displeased and went to Salvo... As soon as I stepped in Salvo, Damien was so very helpful.. He looked up everything that was needed for my car and a very knowledgeable attitude on all the correct tools I needed. Thank u Damien.
