San Jose Joe's

This is a off shoot of San Jose’s Original Joe’s The place was packed with people, the inside is kind of dark. They have TV’s on the was as well as plugs for your devices, lots of seating inside and out and a full bar. The Good: I ordered a Cobb salad + Salami. They gave me a Huge plate, I mean Huge $16 I felt was actually a good price, and it actually tasted good 4 stars. The server: excellent job, he was Johnny on the spot and made no mistakes 5 stars The Bad: Plastic cups that are so old that they turned my stomach. So disgusting see pictures 0 stars Also I noted a fruit fly flying around, that tells me that there may be some sanitary issues. Note to Joes: I hope you understand that you are not only representing this location but also your location in downtown San Jose. When people observe unsanitary conditions they will ASSUME you other location’s are the same.

4-airport restaurant stars. Stopped in while waiting to catch a plane home. San Jose Joe’s was packed but the line moved quickly and it only took about 5 minutes to get a table. The service was super-efficient while the menu has an old-school Italian diner feel to it with a mix of pasta options, pizza and some standard entrees like steak and chicken. I got the Joe’s special - a dinner scramble with egg whites, ground beef, mushrooms and spinach - it’s a pretty darn good airport option if you’re not running to catch a flight.

What a pleasant experience having breakfast this morning at San Jose Joe's. My wife and I arrived at the airport early for a flight and quickly got through security. Looking for a place to eat at 7:30 in the morning we found Joe's open and ready to serve customers. We were quickly greeted and seated by our waiter, Martin. Coffee and water was served promptly. Our breakfast order of eggs, hash browns and meat was quickly cooked-to-order correctly and served efficiently. Martin was friendly, cheerful and pleasant without being intrusive or over-the-top. Quality and quality of the food was plentiful and excellent especially in light of the captive audience. Prices were quite reasonable to boot! Together Martin and Joe's got our day off to a fantastic beginning.

Loved my meatballs sandwich covered in tasty rich marinara sauce and just the right amount of creamy melted provolone. Excellent, fast, and friendly service to boot. A+ experience.

Why so low, San Jose Joe's reviews? Super nice experience this evening. Communicative but polite waiter Marcos, good pizza, decent atmosphere. Hostess was polite and set me a fresh table. She even elaborated on their pizza vs. the slicery further down the airport concourse when I asked before dining. Other diners seemed pleased. There are outlets all along the walls.

Time for this resturant to be rotated out and something new to come in to the space. They have zero tolerance for families, no kids menu and they always seem to be out of items.

I had the eggs Benedict. Don’t get it! The hollandaise sauce is terrible. I felt just like melted butter.

Amazing breakfast! I've always been a fan of Original Joe's and this meal was restaurant quality food in an airport terminal. Fluffy scrambled eggs, large sausage pieces and fresh & crispy potatoes. Plus a glass of juice this was reasonably priced. Defiantly better than a random breakfast sandwich before a flight!!

Whenever I have an early morning flight out of SJC airport, I like to stop in at San Jose Joe's, they are located on the Southwest and Alaska airlines terminal area. You have to wait to be seated, they have some tables in a very crowded area outside of the restaurant. Inside you will find a bar and booths. Their service staff is laid back and usually slow so if you are in a hurry I would not recommend eating here. The prices are rather expensive and the portion sizes for omelettes are very large. They will not give you a "half" order to reduce the food waste so be prepared. For the omelettes, they charge you for each veggie topping you want to include so this may add up quickly. There are no outlets to charge your electronic devices.
