Sand Bar

Best bloody Mary in the area, my wife and I have been to all the recommended bars for bloodys. This place is by far the best. Also gave us a great recommendation for breakfast. All around very impressed, especially since we stumbled upon it early one Thursday morning.

Probably the rudest service I have ever received walked right out and didn’t order anything. They are sitting on a gold mine being next to the just a game complex but with rude service like we just had they are missing out. I personally have been a bartender and server for over 10 years and I would neve treat people the way they do. Sat down and was walked past at least 10 times without a hi or we will be right with you mind you it wasn’t busy at the time and when she finally acknowledged us we said hello and she gave no response and gave us a look of disgust. Only asked for a drink menu and she tossed it in front of us like she was so annoyed that we asked for a drink menu at a bar. Once again would never ever treat any customers like that....will never be back

I’ve been going to Wisconsin dells and visiting for a while now because I live in Madison. I go up there a lot of times to walk downtown and go to the resorts. I always wanted to try the sand bar and one day my girlfriend and I did. I went in there and one of the workers walked right by me looked at me with anger and didn’t greet me. I sat down at a table and one of the bartenders came over and looked like she didn’t wanna be here. Asked us what we wanted, I got a spotted cow and a double vodka lemonade along with cheese curds. I said Thankyou and She didn’t say anything. Was rude as you could see on her facial expressions. The spotted cow was fine, but the double vodka lemonade tasted like there was no vodka in it at all. Rude service I’m guessing because we’re not locals. Cheese curds had too much bread on it. Overall the service was poor and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who is a tourist. Didn’t say have a good day or anything. Won’t be coming back.

Everything is great. Cheese Curds, steak sandwich chili yum. Coming here for football Sundays fun too. Great atmosphere. Way better than Monks!
