Nice little hole in the wall of Madison. Perfect for live performances. Decent bar. Real old fashioned but gets the job done.

This is a place known for music! Killer venue. Set nicely in between 3 bars so in between bands you can grab a couple beers. This place is a Madison must go. Shows there any night of the week.

What a great venue. If you're looking for a cool, intimate show downtown, you'll find it here. The Frequency is a narrow venue with a bar in the front and a stage and standing room in the back.They host shows nearly every day of the week and typically attract a younger audience for small, lesser known acts. I always have a great time whenever I catch a show there, so give them a visit!

This place is a dive, but a great place to see a show. It's tiny and oddly shaped, so expect to get squashed by people while moving from bar to venue. The sound in the venue portion is excellent for a bar this size.

If you want to see the greatest acts that you never heard of, then this is the right spot. The bartenders are awesome, and the intimiate stage is host to great acts from all over. This is my favorite spot for music in Madison, and you will find something to love here!
