Sandy Oaks Kennel, Daycare and Spaw

This facility is awesome. All the employees are friendly and very helpful getting my dogs checked in and out. The grounds are clean with beautiful landscaping. My dogs love it. Shiner is a swimmer so he really loves the pond and playing with more active dogs. Lucy is older and enjoys being with the other older dogs. I love that they can be outside most of the time and not penned up in a cage. We love, love, love this place.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to take my fur babies to Sandy Oaks Kennel for their grooming! Zuca, my female GR, has been so scared at every other place I've taken her. The staff at Sandy Oaks thought they would be able to get the grooming done with patience and understanding. They took their time with her and got the job done! She looks and smells great! They said she did really well and they got her through her triggers, grinders and trimmers. And she was so relaxed going home! A first for any car ride! Paco, my other GR, has no issues and LOVED and accepted all the treats he received during the grooming process. Love, love, LOVE Sandy Oaks and the wonderful staff there! P.S. I forgot to mention that the facility and grounds are so nice! I wouldn't mind hanging out there myself. :)

I wish I could give them more stars! We are very very picky and careful about where we board our dog. So I really researched a place that I felt would be a perfect place to take Eloise and this was it! We are not from the area but come a lot so we wanted to find a place we could take her to every time we came that she actually enjoyed going too. The staff was great, they made us feel so comfortable about leaving her. When we called everyday to check on her they gave us a full and caring report about how she was doing (which we loved!) I loved that they had a wonderful area for them to play in and the option for her to swim. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone in Rockport, surrounding area or people visiting the area. We will bring her back every time we come! We also recommend the spa, we picked her up bathed and happy!

Our Doodles were well tended and seemed very happy about their first visit away from us. They showed great affection to the staff when we went to pick them up. Thank you so much!! They smelled really nice, too. LOL...looking for water when they got home, so I had to fill their pool...so much for the bath! Glad they had the chance to swim and be with other dogs in the process. Maybe our boy won't be so quick to bark at others!

I've been taking Bodi to Sandy Oaks since he was 6 months old, and it's his home away from home! We absolutely love all of the awesome staff, wonderful facilities and outdoor spaces, not to mention the huge pond! I always know that he'll be cared for like family while there, and being able to socialize and play with all of the other dogs is just a great experience for him all around! Couldn't recommend this place more!
