Santino’s is divine. Great spot for a date, for a solo meal at the bar, or for dinner with a small group. Very approachable place and prices. All of the pizzas we have tried in our many visits have been amazing. Pictured is the Paisano Pizza and the Mediterranean Salad. Their lead bartender, Rhea, is the best. She will give you all the needed recommendations. They have a great list of house drinks and happy hour during the week, but you can’t go wrong with a bottle of their house Cabernet. Call ahead to see how busy they are/to put in a reservation just to be safe as it’s often a busy spot due to their limited hours. Thanks for always delivering quality food and service, Santino’s!
Celebrated a birthday at Santinos. The restaurant accommodated us 3 people even though the sign on the door said reservations only. Had the Antipasto platter for an appetizer and it was outstanding! A couple of different meats, cheeses and olives plus crusty bread on the side. The pizzas two of us had were ok. Another had the shrimp salad and gigante meatball, both were really good. Would definitely go back to try a few other menu items.
Loved Santino's! We had reservations and we were seated at the bar. The seats at the bar are very comfortable and spaced apart. The food was excellent and so was the staff. Definitely recommend the Tiramisu!
Dropped our kids off at the Fiserv Arena for a concert and found this place about 10 minutes away based on the reviews. So glad we decided to go. It’s kind of out of the way and we thought, oh this will be interesting. However as soon as you open the door, it is warm and welcoming! We sat at the bar very comfy chairs and started off with a couple of wonderful cocktails from the amazing bartender, Rhea! She was helpful with her suggestions and made great cocktails. They have Sophia Lauren movies playing in the TVs. Such a great atmosphere. We had time to kill so we ordered a couple appetizers and a pizza to share. The bruschetta was so tasty. The pizza with the garlic cream sauce was delicious! Thanks for a great night, Santino’s!
This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food and the service was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is authentic and makes you feel like family! Just as any Italian household would. I recommend anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine stop by. You'll regret it if you don't!
We had gluten-friendly bruschetta, carbonara and pizza and all of it greatly exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly. It's refreshing to dine somewhere where the staff are knowledgeable about menu, ingredients and process and able to make recommendations about both food and drink!
First let me say these folks didn't know us from Adam and yet they treated us like gold, as if we were long time regulars. One of the owners - Greg and Rhea, the keeper of the bar where we sat, gave us hands down the best restaurant experience in the state of Wisconsin... and since we moved north from Texas. The service and food were exceptional. We had the roasted garlic pizza for an appetizer, followed by a Diavolo Pizza and Carbonara pasta for our meal with Tiramasu and Capuchino/Baileys to finish up. We don't live in Milwaukee, but have had the amazing luck with Google reviews directing us for dining experiences. This is a must for visitors that locals have on a daily basis to enjoy. Best to call and make a reservation because of limited seating, you won't be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Meals to satisfy those that favor a vegan diet. Parking: Easy parking, street or adjacent lot.
The moment we walked in the door, I knew this was going to be a great place! The "doorman" greeted us, with a great sense of humor, telling us he's the doorman, dishwasher, cook, sweeper. They had a table for us, even though it was pretty crowded. Their pizza is now my favorite. Love the atmosphere of this italian restaurant. Our waitress was so informative talking about the menu, and the restaurants "favorites". Definitely will be back! C you there!
All I can taste is burnt pizza. My wife texted me while she dined in with her mother how we should have a date night there and if I wanted a pizza. Even she said it looked burnt compared to their pizza while eatting there. Definitely wouldnt want a date night there if a Italian place can't do pizza right.
My husband and I dined at Santino’s for the first time last night and it was a perfect experience. We had everything from drinks and appetizers to dessert. All was delicious…the Carbonara was the star of the show, my God it was so good. Love the cozy, elegant candlelit atmosphere. Perfect service! The owner also stopped by twice which was a nice touch. Can’t wait to go back, just wish we would have discovered sooner.
