Story

Sartoria Ambrosiana is an exclusive custom tailoring company that is comprised of skilled artisans from Naples, Italy who have both pioneered and mastered the uniqueness of Neapolitan tailoring along with all the details that make Neapolitan style so storied and admired throughout the sartorial world. The company was started in 1949 in a town just outside Milan were two master tailors set up shop making the finest suits and shirts for Italian Aristocrats and Milanese Businessmen. As the company grew the owners sought out to employ the most skilled artisan tailors from the city of Naples, The goal was to create a garment that is tailored by hand that moves and communicates with the body of each individuals unique physique by paying attention to extreme details which Neapolitan tailors are famous for. Upon seeing the exquisite garments these artisans were crafting almost entirely by hand, the two owners then permanently moved its headquarters and production to Naples where it is ran out of till this day. In 2011 the company branched out and set up shop in New York City catering to the Gentlemen who admire the passion that goes into the making of our tailored clothing as well as sharing the same sartorial taste level that separates us from other brands. As of March 2011 The Company is currently employing 14 artisans that are hand crafting all garments out of the New York office.
