Story

The Herald Square Theatre was a Broadway theatre in New York City, built in 1883 and closed in 1914.HistoryThe Park Theatre opened in 1883. Actor Charles E. Evans, retiring from the stage with cash in hand from the long-running success of A Parlor Match, refurbished the prior Harrigan's Park Theatre as the Herald Square Theatre in 1894. It stood at 1331 Broadway, designed by architects Rose & Stone with about 1150 seats, and with its interior furnished by the interior of the nearby Booth's Theatre, which was being demolished. Lee Shubert took over the lease of the theatre in 1900, making it the first Broadway theatre owned by The Shubert Organization.Partially destroyed by fire and rebuilt, in 1911 it became "the first New York theatre to be converted into a silent movie house", but it was demolished only three years later, as the Garment District expanded, and the Broadway theater district migrated north of 40th Street. The theatre offered a variety of entertainment, from plays, like Shaw's Arms and the Man (1894), to Edwardian musical comedies, like The Girl from Kay's (1903–1904) and The Girl Behind the Counter (1907–1908), to operetta, like Reginald De Koven and Harry B. Smith's Rob Roy. It saw the first performance of the George M. Cohan song "You're a Grand Old Flag" in 1906, and it was also where William Randolph Hearst first saw and met his wife Millicent Willson during her appearance as a "bicycle girl" in 1897.

I love this urban outfitters store. You can always find sales happening. The store is nice, clean, and organized. On the higher level are the home department and lower men. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about size and inventory. The book section is so cute; many unique finds in this entire store. I love the retro look and the vinyl records / music area; you can find many new artists and some old bands. It's like a time travel to the 1970s. Paying was quick, and customer service was a pleasant experience when having to return a T-shirt.
Rockefeller center is a large area covering several buildings. I Found a tourist map that directed me to all of the points of interest, the beautiful murals and architecture. I've also been to Top of the Rock observation deck Which has beautiful 360 views of Manhattan. Saint Patrick's Cathedral is also right across the street.
I love this brand, the bdg jeans are my favs and they always have cool and original stuff. They were super nice helping me out with what I was looking for.
3 floors full of trendy brands of fashion for men women and home, quite empty at the moment in termes of range of products
The store had really good prices for items on sale. But there would be a lot of clothing laying around on the floor apparently because people had dropped them and didn't care to pick them up. The building also has a poke bar inside which makes the whole place unpleaseantly smell like really spicy food. Wait time at the queue was a bit long for the amount of people actually shopping.
Good selections with sales. Very diverse building with much to choose from. It was my first time there today. Good experience overall.
I was trying out 7 items and I decided to take 5 of them home with me. The girl at the fitting room asked me to put back every item even if I explained that I might need her help bc I had to hold too many items I want to take home. Over the years I spent more than more than 2,000 ever year at urban outfitters and it used to my fav. This is very disappointing.
Rude! I hate it when you're at the counter and the employees have a conversation as if you aren't there. We went to the self-checkout and items were ringing up as $0.10. So we told them, and a skinny girl with braces and black hair was pretty rude about it and charged us way more money than what we thought it should be, then she went back to the other employee so she could finish her conversation. Sorry for interruptiing! I will not be returning.
Walking in this store and seeing awful, unsightly employees like Chris is giving me the Vancome lady vibes, Tcha you know what? huh uh. UO you keep dropping the ball. Customers like myself can’t pick up for your slack. Never again.
one of the people who works there was terrible. I love urban outfitters but I won’t go this store because I don’t want to see himor her again
