One of the best in Lexington! This place was our frequent destination. We love everything about this one, the food, the ambiance, the location, and ofcourse Mamado, the owner! Our favourite was super savory Peanut Goat Curry, with few drops of the Sav's special habenaro hot sauce on it! A simple meal - Peanut Goat Curry served on white/brown rice in a white bowl and that's it, and we were crazy about that. Deliciousness beyond words! There was a time when my husband and his friends used to go every friday for lunch and have that peanut goat curry only! Although we moved out of Lexington now, but still we want to visit there just to have that goat curry once more!

Had the Beef, and the Vegan. One over Fufu, the other, rice. I am quite satisfied, the flavors authentic and not overly salted. Often times ethnic food is over salted in lieu of real flovor and spice for the American Palate. The Habanero Suace is a must! You can taste that buttery, unique flavor the pepper has and not be overwhelmed by heat, or vinegar. Thanks Sav, I will be back when I am in town.

I had the peanut goat, spicing it up with Summer of their house made habanero sauce. Very delicious. The owner is wonderful as well. I'll return often!

The food was incredibly delicious, simple, warm, comforting, but with great nuanced flavors. I had the spicy chicken mafen over rice and the side salad and they offset each other extremely well. I added his own homemade habanero sauce which really turned up the heat and magnified the all the flavor in the broth. I appreciated that the food wasn't overly salted so you could really taste all the ingredients. But by far and away, my favorite part of the restaurant is Sav himself. From handing me a napkin the minute I stepped into the door to clean my glasses when they fogged up inside to paying for the rest of my meal so I wouldn't have to use my card to giving me a bottle of hot sauce after we talked about how much I liked it, this gentleman's hospitality knows no limits. He is gracious, generous, and makes me proud to be from Lexington. I'll definitely return and wish him and his family all the best. Excellent comfort food in an even more comforting and kind environment.
