Sears

If I could give them a -1 I would. I have called the Portland store over 50 times to check on an item. No one answers the phones!!!!!! I even called the manager 4 times, each time it rang for such a long time, that the answering machine came on. I called customer service at least 10 or more times and they didn't answer!!! This is ridiculous. No wonder they are closing stores. The customer service is terrible!

I hate to do this but I’m totally fed up... I bought a dish washer from Sears at The Maine Mall in February - it was about $700 and paid In full. It was delivered on a Thursday. My contractor was coming to hook it up on Saturday. So I opened it up to get it ready for hook up on Friday night. When I opened it, the bottom left hand leg area was completely bent and barely hanging on. I called Sears and they sent me a replacement about a week later - all the while I am without a dishwasher but no big deal... The replacement dishwasher came in the next week. I had the replacement dishwasher for 53 days before it completely stopped working. The technician ordered a new comppanel. It took 5 days to come in. When it came in and he tried to fix it, he realized there was something else wrong as well. They sent out for another replacement part but said I would be another 12 days without my dishwasher. I’ve spoken to both managers Matt and Chris at Sears (when they answer or decide to call back). I’ve asked for a new replacement dishwasher or for my money back (still under warranty). I’ve called almost every day and kept getting told they will get back to me or speak to someone above them. It’s been over a week. No one answered yesterday or today. This is while they have a kenmore rated #1 appliances sign outside.

Lots of stuff to choose from in stock, friendly & helpful staff available to work with, although the point-of-sale system is either an outdated, or non user-friendly nightmare! 😱..Matt in tools dept is especially willing to go the extra mile to work thru complicated issues for customer satisfaction, Thanx Matt! 😎

Nice product, terrible service. Website is misleading when wanting appliances delivered AND installed. Delivery/installation is constantly delayed. When it is finally scheduled they dont call to confirm a time so you call them only for them to tell you there was never going to be a tech in the area to begin with. First and last time using Sears.

Do not purchase a ring or any jewelry from this store. We bought a $1,300dollar ring from them a couple months back. After having it for 6months we went to buy another one in a more reputable jewelry store and for the heck of it got ours appraised. It wasn't worth any more than $50!! We called Sears and told them this and went round and round and round with them. We asked for the manager to call us as we were getting know where with the employee in jewelry who sold us the ring. We were ripped off!! And had the appraisal papers to prove it. They didn't want to hear it and the manager never called us back. Never again will we shop there for anything!!
