Serenity Day Spa

As a business owner, I understand the importance of providing excellent service, products, & exceeding the customer expectations. For my birthday, as a first time customer, I treated myself to the Miracle Massage spa package with enhancements (i.e. lunch, manicure, hot stone massage & pedicure). My day started at 10:30am and ended at 3:30pm. Everything was absolutely FANTASTIC with 1 exception. My one-hour, full body hot stone massage started at 11:25am and ended at 12:10pm...a whole 15 minutes earlier!!! After getting dressed, I was led downstairs for my hot stone pedicure. Trying to remain calm and professional, I decided to wait and mention it to the friendly lady at the front desk, who greeted me upon my arrival. However, I explained to her that my one-hour full body massage with hot stone (additional $15) was cut short. She apologized and said that she would speak to the massage therapist, but I was never offered a discount or another session, and I spent over $200 in services!!! It kind of put a damper on my birthday celebration. I felt so cheated. :(

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the couples retreat. The massage therapists were professional and we were both very relaxed. The light dinner was great and very romantic in the private candlelit room. We would definitely go there again.

Was relaxing until I got to my actual service. I got the body polish wet table treatment. I wasn't given a place to put my clothes and so therefore I was forced to put them in the corner on the floor. The lady was a little clumsy and kept dropping the utensils on me. She scratched me a few times too. The music wasn't on when I came in the room and then shut off half way through my treatment and it was never put back on. She kept forgetting things and leaving in and out to go get them.. THEN her phone went off loudly twice and at one point she actually answered the phone and was talking on the phone during my treatment. I had really high hopes for this place - especially in the beginning. The lady at the front desk was great and the waiting room was super pretty and relaxing, but for an over $100 treatment (I got a mini facial as well) it was not worth my time or money. It just felt like a cheap spa experience, not the high end experience I was expecting. I was given no opportunity to relax from the moment my treatment started.

I've been here several times. The place is very relaxing and tranquil. The ladies are professional and pleasant. Angie is the go to person for waxing if you need it done. She's quick and thorough.

I just had the most awesome massage at Serenity. I shared with Kristina, the massage therapist, that I was having major shoulder issues that involved numbness and pain down my arm, and she proceeded to give me the best massage I’ve had in years. My pain is now resolving and I’m feeling normal again!! She knew just where to concentrate the therapy and I very much look forward to coming back for another session.
