Our family was out having a fun day on the lake when we found our family boat would not start and we were stuck in the middle of the lake. We called around to try and find help to get us back to shore. When I reached Shoreline watercraft and boat rental I was transfered to the owner who asked a few questions about our location and then said he would be there in 5 min. He showed up and gave us instructions on a safe tow and was very aware of caring for our boat and his. He towed us back to the dock our boat seats 18 ppl and he gave us a smooth and safe ride. He helped get us docked at the local loading ramp and even helped give us advice on where to call and a few things to check. I did not ask about a fee when I called but expected it would be expensive due to the boat use time and the liability he was taking on to tow our mastercraft. He said there was no charge this time and we were completely impressed in how he took his time and resources to help our family with no compensation. It was obvious this is a family ran establisent that cares about the people in the community. We were lucky that it was a slower day on the lake and he could extend this service that is outside what they normally could offer. I do believe that regardless the day this is a wonderful establishment that puts people first!
Meh. Know that you have to fill up the tank when you're done riding. The equipment all worked well. There was a TON of paperwork to sign, which could have been provided beforehand, so I could have actually read it before showing up for the rental. Kids running the operation were nice enough.
The jet ski was running great until some wood got stuck deep in the motor. We were stranded and eventually got towed back by a nice group of guys. They use some special tool to fix it. When I asked for a discount they insisted otherwise.
The jet ski was great and the staff seemed stressed out but did a good job- they give you the jet ski with full gas and then you drive it to the gas station and fill it up at the end. Ours was almost empty when we got it, we filled it up for $75 and then came back and told the boys what had happened- they immediately expressed concern and rectified the situation by crediting me back the entire $75. Highly recommend!
The boat was fun, and we had a great time on the water. The staff is super unhelpful and utterly disinterested in your experience. We were first time boaters and the young person that showed us the workings of the boat went way fast and couldn't even try to enunciate for you to hear. We had to ask for him to repeat multiple times. When we got back the staff met us and all they said to us was, "where is the buoy?" We didn't know what they were talking about. Only saw one buoy when we left. No one did a walk through with us to ensure all gear you might be responsible for was present. Instead, 3 staff came out and looked for this 1 buoy we knew nothing about. Then stated we were going to have to pay for the buoy we never saw. There was no, "did you have a nice time?" or "how was it?", and definitely not a "thanks for boating with us." The young person that ran my card to pay $60 + tax for the missing buoy looked very angry and treated us like felons. We spent $444 for 4 hours of boat rental already plus $75 in gas. My husband and I didn't argue we just paid the buoy fee, but was baffled by this extra buoy we never saw. I'd advise to rent elsewhere. No one cares squat about your experience or basic customer service skills. Even enunciation for your boater review is too much for this crew.
We were steered to this service by The Lookout, where we are staying. When we arrived they had only half of the jet skis we were told we could rent, even though there were many parked in their area. I asked if the others were reserved and she said no. The woman said they were short staffed so they could only rent us two. I didn’t understand this explanation, but the owner did nothing to help us. Today we reached out to another service and they were much more professional, accommodating and less expensive.
Booked with them this summer with my dad. Great choice of boats and really good fun with the family. The speedometer wasn’t working, only the Rev counter so we had to guess the knots we were going. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you’re in lake Chelan or in the surrounding areas to go and have fun for a few hours. Good prices too!
It was super easy to rent a motorboat and spend an awesome 1 hour on the lake. No need for any boating license or experience. Also pretty reasonably priced ~$97 for a 19-footer for 1 hr. Only call-out is that we need to top off the fuel before returning the boat, and that turned out to be $30 for us - so roughly 30% of our rental.
My family and I had an amazing time. We rented two jet skies and a boat from Alexis and Bianca. They were very helpful and so sweet. Definitely recommend this place. And we will definitely keep coming back.
Good service we rented boats for two days and they were accommodating. Boats were clean and just have to get fueled before returned. Overall I reccomend it.
