Wonderful food and service. We were greeted by super friendly Samantha at the door. She continued to check on us throughout the evening. Everything was incredible. We had a non alcoholic Moscow mule to start, goat cheese and tomato sauce, shrimp with garlic, beef filet skewers, Tres leches cake . Such a fun place and great experience.Food: 5/5
Sidebar is an absolute gem! The service was wonderful and the food was all incredible. The Saffron Risotto was very flavorful, and perfectly cooked, the Spicy garlic potatoes were seasoned just right, the beef empanadas had an amazing filling and the crust was wonderfully light and flaky. The beef filet skewers were a perfect med-rare and the sauce was delicious. The chili relleno was the star for us! So amazing. Desert was fantastic too! Both the Tres leches cake and flan had a beautiful texture and flavor. Overall a fantastic experience! We all agreed it's our new favorite restaurant!!!
Absolutely one of the best restaurants in all of Columbus. We’ve been coming here for years and the quality has remained high throughout. I have been to South American countries many times and this restaurant captures the essence of the region extremely well. Their wine selection is on point, and you can’t go wrong with any of their tapas. Our favorite items include the beef empanadas, cheese empanadas, saffron risotto and the beef and cilantro pizza. Do not skip out on the tres leches cake at the end. This place is amazing!
Food was amazing! I recommend the beef empanadas, lomo saltado and plantains with queso fresco and guava paste. Can’t wait to try everything else Owner was very friendly and you can tell she’s passionate about her restaurant!Food: 5/5
Best Tapas in town! Highly recommend to anyone, whether you're a fan of tapas or not. The food was spectacular and there's a great selection of wines and craft cocktails. If you've never been, you gotta try it! We had a large group and couldn't make a reservation online, but they were helpful and able to accommodate over the phone. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It was a great dinner, already looking forward to coming back. Parking: The lot a block north is easy parking and only $5 for 12 hours if no events are going on
We celebrated a special occasion today at sidebar and it was amazing! Chef Felipe prepared a special dinner for us which we ordered with 24 hours advance notice. Paella! It was the most amazing meal I have ever eaten! Not only was the food spectacular but the service was amazing also! we would definitely recommend sidebar Columbus!Food: 5/5
Food was absolutely amazing. We loved everything we ordered from the appetizers to the dessert. The location we sat was brighter than the rest of the restaurant but it wasn't bad. We were checked on once or twice after the food came out. Overall, food was delightful and moderately priced. Service was good. Atmosphere at any other part of the restaurant would have been better.
Food quality is top notch. Anyway food isn't bad I'll stick to the small portion not the entree on back side they're not that far apart. I wouldn't probably go back again but it's a good atmosphere. Good to try new things.
If you asked me yesterday if I would ever order mashed potatoes at a restaurant, I would answer “no. Never.” But after returning to Sidebar and eating off my partners’ plate, I would absolutely order mashed potatoes the next time I return to Sidebar. The food is absolutely delicious with many vegetarian options. Staff is exceptional. I love how the food comes out in waves. Cheers!
We ordered 4 different Tapas plates and all of them were amazing. My favorite restaurant in Columbus right now.
