Our 2 year old lab(?) mix was a happy, but high-energy challenge. She was over-the-top any time we had company. And with a 9-month old baby, it was next to impossible for me or my wife to take her on walks with our daughter. Loose leash walking was next to impossible with a baby in tow and squirrels darting around the neighborhood. At home, she would jump up and lick and play nip at guests coming in the door, bark loudly when put out of the room, and chew on the leash when we would try to settle her down. These were just a few of the main problems that prompted us to reach out to SMS. We participated in the 12-day immersion program because it also coincided with travel plans. The SMS staff was more than willing to accommodate the training around our travel. We are now about 2 weeks into having Layla home since "boot camp" and she's an entirely different dog. My wife has been able to take her on walks while carrying our daughter. She stays in "place" when guests come in the door. Our trainer, Ashley, was fantastic. Layla was wiggly to see her when she came in for a follow up. We still have 2 follow-up training sessions with Ashley remaining. But even without them, the training was awesome and in my opinion, worth every penny.

Our 7 month old chocolate lab went in as a rambunctious puppy and came out a well behaved dog! The 12 day immersion program worked wonders with Motley. The trainers at Sit Means Sit truly know what they are doing and are able to work with any dog. We received updates as the training went along, and received a great overview on the new training techniques, with instructions on how to properly use them at home. Since coming home Motley has been fantastic with following commands :)

From the initial meeting with the owner Gary and the greeting and friendly response from the entire staff, Sit Means Sit felt right. We did our homework and checked references and found out one of our neighbors had taken her Pit puppy there. I was reluctant to take a 6 month old beagle pup . We decided on the 12 day immersion program. Our trainer is Cole and he's amazing with the dog and the communication. He kept us informed on the progress not only with emails but with video's as well. When we picked up Hunter last Saturday the difference was hard to believe. After working with him at home this week, Hunter went back this morning for one of his training session. Cole reinforced what we had been working on this week and then spent over an hour fine tuning the technique. I'm not one to write reviews, however, Sit Means Sit is excellent.

Great people to work with. They love dogs, felt totally comfortable taking my heeler puppy here. She did great with the program. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs/wants their dogs trained. They do a custom training program for your dog so that you get the most out of it.

Thank you to Sit Means Sit for working with my dog, and myself, to improve his behavior and overcome his aggression. If anyone is looking at dog trainers, I recommend SMS! Great people, great results! Thank you again
