I had my dog evaluation and Linda does seem very confident but something happened to my dog after that visit that I can't explain and it took two days to get him back to his normal playful self. He became very aggressive toward my other dog right after the eval. It's not for me but I'm sure she can help others.

I was referred to Linda by a good friend who has mentored me as my 2 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Lewis, and I became a therapy dog pet partner team. I was having some minor training issues with Lewis and was looking for a professional to help me properly work with Lewis to gain confidence in the various therapy situations that we could encounter in the facilities we visit (hospitals, schools, etc.). Linda has been invaluable to us. Not only does she have great insight into what is going on INSIDE my dog, she was honest about what I was doing, why, and the next steps for success. I have an epileptic dog and Linda has experience training dogs with epilepsy. She was able to weigh my concerns and the need for a specialized training program. Linda is patient, compassionate, and willing to work with me on the best training method for my dog. After training with Linda for 3-4 sessions, Lewis and I were already much more relaxed and the confidence we gained made our therapy visits were even more successful than before. We had to take a break from training while Lewis adjusted to some medications and to avoid the brutal summer heat. However, Linda had only been an email away. She has consistently checked in with me about how my dog is doing. The only drawback for me is that she is located an hour away from my home. That said, it's worth the drive and I will continue to make it.

I am so happy with my experience with Linda at Lionheart K9. I was so nervous that i was going to have to give up my 5 year old pitbull/boxer mix, due to her separation anxiety and overall lack of obedience in all situations. Maggie(our pup) was anxious about other dogs and being left alone. Linda trained us and maggie to work together and make sure that maggie understood what we expected from her. I was so shocked the first time maggie walked "off lead" next to me around the yard, that is every dog owners dream! I truly know that Linda cares for all the dogs that she trains because she seemed to take a special interest in every one. I would recommend Linda and Lionheart K9 to everyone who asks. I truly am amazed by Linda's gift with dogs!
