A great spot to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Terrific location with easy access to the main road and a beautiful outlook. The staff is helpful and kind, and the environment is cozy and pleasant. They provide a range of meals all of which are prepared with top-notch ingredients and cooked to absolute perfection. It offers excellent value for your money because the portions are sizable and the pricing are fair.
One of the best dining locations on campus. Unlike essentially everywhere else, it has a sit-down option to get food with a waiter. The food is high quality for campus standards. The only problem is that it's relatively expensive, so either watch your money well or use it to treat yourself occasionally.Food: 5/5
Somewhat disappointed. We were told the buffet would start at 5 pm. When we got in there was no buffet because the game was at night so we were told. We had family from out of state and hoped to give them a nice selection of foods, and the menu is pretty slim, so they had breakfast. Food is okay, servers were friendly.
Great breakfast buffet and staff was attentive and friendly
Went to game day buffet. The shrimp, cinnamon rolls, eggs, and sausage gravy. Pretty much everything else was over-cooked. Sad. Pre-Covid, this was one of the best buffets. BTW, price has jumped considerably, now $22 per person. Place used to be packed game day, now not so much. I understand why, I wonder if they do?Food: 2/5
This restaurant has fallen apart in the last few years. Food options are terrible now. The employees visibly complain when people walk in to be seated. One hostess hid to avoid seating more customers because she was to busy with only 3 tables. These hostesses also fail to clean properly, I saw a dead mouse in the back corner. I have been eating here with my friends for years, and it is disappointing to see these few individuals bring down Sloopy's. Avoid this restaurant on Sunday night at all costs.
The game day breakfast/lunch buffet is $22 now, a hefty increase from pre-covid. You dont mind paying that much if you are provided quality food. Scrambled eggs were good as well as the massive pre-peeled shrimp, beyond that not much else to brag about. Turkey, churros, cinnamon rolls, all over-cooked, bacon limp, not crispy. What happened to the prime rib you used to serve. This used to be the place to go before Ohio State games, but we noticed they weren't that busy this time? Maybe everyone is realizing food quality declining while price increases is not a great combination?
Super breakfast. Great atmosphere. Friendly employees. Highly recommend. Go BUCKS!!
The wait staff is very friendly, but the food is slightly overpriced.Food: 4/5
Sloopy’s is a FANTASTIC diner. I’ve had many memories here as a student. The pancakes and milkshakes are their best dishes. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Be aware, they have long wait times for dine in eating most of the time!
