Smallcakes Richmond, Va

This is one of the best cupcake places in the Richmond area. Fluffy cake, icing that is sweet but not too sweet, and the filled cupcakes are amazing. Lemon drop and carrot cake are my favorite so far. I typically went to the west end to Frostings but their icing is super sweet and more dense cupcakes. Carrytown cupcakes are similar to frostings. Smallcakes also makes their own ice cream fresh daily and make additional treats as well. I plan on going back to try it all - over time.

My mom comes here all the time (on her own, or by request! lol) I love that you guys offer "pup"cakes and I know my girls do too! They go crazy for them! I have tried a few different flavors, but I can't stop coming back to the lemon drop. A lemon lover's DREAM come true! Keep up the fantastic work, guys!

Every single time I come here there are always an exciting and delicious variety of cupcakes to try. Although, wedding cake cupcakes are my definite go to. I always get awesome customer service with a smile. I love this place even if it is responsible for some extra pounds. Lol it just makes me harder to kidnap. 😀 You seriously can not go wrong with whatever cupcake you get. Keep making delicious cupcakes and I will keep coming back.

So yummy! The ice cream is sooo good and affordable. The cupcakes are yummy too. Go check it out.

My wife thought it was great. I didn't find it all that special. It's local and had good expensive cup cakes. Nothing unique to draw me back.
