Smalls Jazz Club

First night we went there we happened to be listening to the craziness of free jazz. The day after an amazing quartet playing modern songs in a jazzy key. The place is an institution. I love the fact that ticket price is the same no matter the artist. I will definitely go back if I ever come back to New York

An unforgettable NYC experience. Lots of history in a small underground venue. Bring cash for cover charge. Line begins 1/2hr before show starts- don’t get there any later than that. Grab a seat as soon as you get downstairs. Closer to the band the better. There is a waitress that comes to your seat, or pony up to the bar for a cocktail. Don’t miss this place!

Amazing! My husband and I came here for a date night and we can’t wait to go back. So close and personal with the musicians and everyone was very nice. Such a great find!!

Nice place to listen jazz! Really good music and few bands during one evening. But it's actually small and no food on the bar. Entrance = 10$, but it definitely worth it!

Every time I'm in NYC this is a must. Read the small print on the web site so you can get the most out of your night there. Their sister club one block away (Mezzarow) is also amazing and maybe a little less packed with much better seating. Your ticket should get you access to both clubs. Enjoy. 😁
